I departed from Ishigaki Island this time and participated in a mangrove kayaking tour on Iriomote Island. I booked it through Klook after researching various travel agencies' reviews. Actual paddling into the mangroves for about 20 minutes before returning (not tiring at all, very easy to get the hang of 🤣). The one-way experience time is not long, making it suitable for a half-day itinerary. There are simple restrooms on-site for changing clothes 👌 👕Recommended attire: Long sleeves (for sun protection + mosquito repellent) Shorts (will definitely get wet) Hat (it's really sunny) Remember to bring a change of clothes 🗣Language: English/Japanese are available, but communicating with gestures is also perfectly fine. 👉My 63-year-old dad completed it successfully too 🤣 P.S. You need to purchase your Iriomote Island ferry tickets separately (round-trip tickets are not included). とても楽しくて勉強になるツアーでした！景色は素晴らしく、マングローブを間近で見ることができてとても感動しました！ツアーガイドの方々はとても親切で助かりました。私とパートナーは日本語を話せるので助かりましたが、日本語を話せない方々にも英語で一生懸命説明してくれました。写真やビデオも撮ってくれて、ツアー後にはシャワーを浴びるオプションもあり、泥水の中でカヤックを漕ぐと汚れやすい（そして汗をかきやすい）ので、これはとても良いサービスです。絶対におすすめします！

It was wonderful. The decor is beautiful and calm. A real change of scenery. Our guide was Jun Satou and he was exceptional! He gave us a lot of explanations and was super kind and pleasant!

The tour guide is nice and helpful. Although his English isn't great, he tried his best to explain and communicate.

Our instructor, Nana, will take photos and send them to us! Thank you for the detailed explanation. I now understand about mangroves.

The coach was excellent! We were first-timers trying SUP and picked it up right away. Their English was also very fluent, making communication smooth! Highly recommend this experience.

The mangrove kayak tour was so much fun! I was especially impressed by our guide, Kono, who led the tour brightly and kindly throughout, even though it was a very hot day. Thanks to him, it became an even better memory. Thank you!

There was no English speaking guide available, even though this was advertised and the reason we booked with this tour operator. Using GoogleTranslate is not a replacement. They did not make any effort to tell us what was happening nor did they have English information available on paper. The kayak tour was too short. If you’re coming from Ishigaki, this tour is not recommended: you are traveling longer to get at the meetingpoint than the kayak tour lasts. We were a little disappointed to say the least.
