This night safari was really great. We saw many coconut crabs and other inhabitants of the Iriomote jungle! However, we don't recommend it for arachnophobes because there are literally spiders everywhere, their bodies glowing slightly in the moonlight. The only two downsides to the activity were the cloudy sky preventing us from fully enjoying the stars, and the fact that the guide only spoke partial English. He still made a great effort to help us understand as much as possible, even resorting to Google Translate when he couldn't find his words.

A very friendly guide explained the various animals to me using a translator, and was very considerate of my language barrier. I was very happy to experience wild animals up close in a protected area for the first time, and they even dropped me back at my hotel afterwards.

It was a very pleasant tour and we were able to see many things, I recommend it.

We saw a beautiful starry sky. The number of stars visible to children and adults differs quite a bit, so I think it's a good idea to take the opportunity to view the starry sky while your children are young and while you are still young. We also learned about the origins of the names of creatures we didn't know before, which made for a fun memory.

Iriomote's starry night tour was amazing. We enjoyed clear views of the stars. We also saw lots of nocturnal animals. Highly recommended.

梅雨が明ける寸前の時季の参加で激しい雨が降ったかと思ったらカラッと晴れたりと八重山諸島特有の難しい天候でしたが、ガイドさんと共に獣道かと思うくらいのジャングルに文字通り草をかき分けながら入って動物たちを探す行程はスリリングでとても楽しかったです。 お陰様でヤシガニはもちろん、ハブ、珍しいヤドカリ、コウモリ、サソリなどとも遭遇出来て満喫出来ました。海沿いのジャングルに入るので泥だらけになる畏れがあるので靴を貸していただけたのは大変助かりました。 また、途中土砂降りの雨も降り、傘などを差すスペースも余裕も無いので、ゴアテックス素材などの防水ジャケットは必須です。

Due to the season, we couldn't see any stars, but our guide was very kind and told us a lot of things, including information about restaurants along the way, and we saw many creatures on the island. It was great to see a coconut crab. The hotel pick-up and drop-off was also very helpful.
