Wulai Old Street

De todos los tours que reservé, este fue mi favorito personal. La agencia de viajes me notificó que no había suficientes angloparlantes que hubieran reservado el tour, por lo que nos unimos al grupo de habla china. ¡El Sr. Eric, nuestro conductor, fue muy encomiable y complaciente! The double hot spring room is quite spacious and even has a waterproof storage cabinet, which is very thoughtful for items you don't want to get wet. Soaking in a hot spring can get quite warm, but the room here has air conditioning, making the overall experience very comfortable. Outside, there's a public area with hair dryers and cotton swabs available. Overall, I feel it offers great value.

5 stars for everything!! You HAVE to book this tour if you visit Taiwan. Tommy leads the tour and he gave us the best day. He’s very talented at switching between speaking in Chinese and English equally to share wonderful information. He reminds me of a teacher. I traveled with my 65 year old mother who walks with a cane, but still has the energy and fights through her bad knees. Tommy gave us so much time in each location to explore and she didn’t have any problems, despite climbing stairs and walking trails in the mountain! Wulai was a very serene and beautiful place… It was our last tour during our visit to Taiwan and I’m so glad we did not miss it. The drive itself was gorgeous. Tommy crafted the best itinerary to visit the mountain, the hotel at top (there’s a beautiful pond with a creek & coffee shop up there), the cable car ride with amazing views of waterfall, cute train ride to zip us down to the indigenous village, & plenty of time to walk around and eat/shop. Book Tommy!!!

Our tour consisted of six people, so it was very small and easy to get around in a minivan. The town visited on the Wulai mountain trip was very quiet and not crowded, unlike other tours I have been on in Taipei. The tour guide was very nice and informative.

I came to the public bath on a weekday and it's so quiet and nice. On the day I visited, only Taiwanese people were in the baths. The staff are very friendly... The receptionists speak excellent English, and when I wasn't sure where to go in the bath area, a staff member came over and used a translator to guide me. They were truly kind. I was a bit worried after reading other reviews, but it was really great. For those using the public bath, just show your Klook voucher at reception, get your key, go down the stairs, and the women's bath is on the left and the men's bath is on the right (written in Korean). You can enter accordingly. Like a Korean sauna, you put your shoes in the locker corresponding to your key number, come in, undress in a locker, put on a gown and a hair cap, then come to the public bath area, shower, and then enter the bath. They asked us to remove our makeup before entering if we were wearing any! (Let's be polite Koreans and follow this rule, haha.) But honestly, there's no need to wear makeup when going to a hot spring. Cell phones are prohibited inside the bath! You can use them in the resting area. And the water is super soft, it feels like it's good for your skin.

September 5, 2026. This is a family-style hot spring inn, so it's not recommended for those with high expectations! The hot spring water is very comfortable and leaves your skin feeling smooth. Basic amenities are provided. The couple's set meal was delicious and very filling. There aren't many parking spaces directly in front, but there are parking spots available nearby.

Safety: The overall dim lighting indeed creates a high-end hotel atmosphere, but because there are always stairs, there is a potential hidden danger. Experience: The public hot spring area has a high-temperature pool, a medium-temperature pool, a cold-water pool, a spa pool, a steam room, a sauna, and lounge chairs (comfortable). The overall feeling is good, each pool is large, and there are also water dispensers available for making tea or coffee.

Great private onsen experience, the room was spacious with amazing view. only drawback is the distance from the town, however a private shuttle can be arranged (100NT one way).

We made a last-minute decision to visit that day. After calling to confirm availability, we smoothly boarded the shuttle, and everything went perfectly. We chose the Yinglin room, and the Atayal tribal house theme was absolutely stunning; it was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The staff on-site meticulously explained all the important details, and the front desk personnel were very professional and friendly. The entire experience was excellent. Afterward, we could enjoy tea and snacks, then head to the bookstore to stretch. There's also the Wulai Old Street to explore. Highly recommended!
