Good value for money and pleasant experience soaking in Hotsprings, surrounded by nature. Many restaurant options are nearby after the hotsprings experience, including street food stores and scenic walking trails
I visited during the Lunar New Year and it was so good because there weren't many people! The view was absolutely incredible. The jade-colored river seen from inside the bath is truly unforgettable. Looking at the Wulai River from the open-air hot spring, I really felt like jumping in as if enchanted. The water was so smooth that my skin felt completely soft in a short time! I was hesitant because I didn't have photos of the public hot spring, but don't hesitate, just go! I highly recommend it.👍👍👍👍
I tried both the private couple's hot spring and the public bath. Personally, if you're not a couple, I recommend the public bath. There's no time limit, and with wet and dry saunas, an open-air hot spring, and bubble beds, there are so many different baths that time just flew by. I bought a package that included dinner, and it was an excellent choice. The food was high-class and incredibly delicious. Even my picky mother said it was very tasty. Next time, I'll have to try staying at the hotel. I'm extremely satisfied.
Definitely get the high tea with the spring bath, it’s super worth it! just check out the photos. A steal even. You can get there from Xiandiang Metro station then take bus 849. We booked the private bath and it’s very spacious. They provide bath towels, the shower is inside with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. there’s also complimentary water, snacks, other beverage. The rooms are facing the river and a beautiful mountain. We got there early but they allowed us to go in and stay the whole duration. The staff are very nice, definitely recommend the afternoon tea. it come with 9 different items and a pot of tea. This is a great bang for your buck and must try when in Taipei!
The Volando Urai Grand Bath in New Taipei was superb! It was the best and most impressive part of my Taiwan travel itinerary. I have atopic dermatitis, so I always try to include places with good water in my schedule. Large windows in the grand bath were open, allowing me to see and enjoy nature right before my eyes. Especially the open-air bath... it truly felt like I was living like an immortal. I was so sleepy that I only enjoyed the grand bath for about 30 minutes, then I took a sweet nap for about an hour on a sofa bed in the relaxation area, haha. When I arrived at the counter around 9:30 AM on a Sunday, there weren't many people, but by lunchtime when I left, the line had gotten long. For those planning to visit on a weekend, I highly recommend going early in the morning. If I ever travel to Taiwan again, I will definitely come here again! 👍👍
Highly recommend. Walked from Wulai terminal station after visiting Wulai Old Street. It was a 10 to 20-minute walk as I took a detour and crossed the nice-looking bridge. If you’re heading down from the same place, do note there ain’t footpath on some stretches. The public bath was larger than most other baths I’ve visited (not many). Amenities were clean and sufficient. The place seemed rather popular as there were about 10 people I crossed paths with during my time in the bath (1 to 2 hours). Despite the crowd, everyone was comfortably spaced out and almost no one was ever in the same bath as me? Also, do note they have two entrances, one for resort guests and one for the public bath guests. No biggies if you enter the wrong one as they were nice enough to lead me to the right reception!
Super easy to find your way there! You need to book the shuttle bus in advance. The timings are very accurate. We initially booked for lunch but decided to change to dinner and hot spring time at 5 pm. We got to enjoy the day and night view and even walked down to Laojie (Old Street), and the scenery was worth the walk. After the hot spring session, we felt so relaxed! Dinner was good with 6 courses and 1 drink. It was worth the money! As I saw the dinner was NT980 + 10% service charge per person, this package is definitely worth it! Note: The last trip for the shuttle bus is 6:15 pm, but if you miss it, it's alright; they do have public buses to Xindian Station every 20 minutes.
It's a good idea to reserve your shuttle bus and preferred time slot on the resort's website in advance. Once you arrive at the subway station, there's a Starbucks where you can pass the time, and upon arrival at the resort, showing your Klook voucher will ensure you're well-guided. I went with my parents, and everyone was satisfied; the water quality seems really excellent. The facilities themselves aren't significantly different from Korean saunas, but it's a unique experience, so I highly recommend it. The stream in front is also very beautiful.
The cleanliness of the bath, the variety of amenities, and the elegant scent of the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are all impeccable. If you use the public bath, you have 4 hours available, so you can relax in the lounge while gazing outside. This time, we used the lunch service, and the menu was very satisfying. On the way back, we took the shuttle bus (50 yuan for a fee) and were able to get to the station without getting wet, even in heavy rain.
