A great experience at the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica! Entering the museum was a breeze- beating the crowd and queue at the entrance was definitely a plus point! The meeting place was also clearly indicated which allows us to join the tour easily.

Jang Yoon-hye, our guide for Vatican The Day.^^ She is the best tour guide I have ever met. Her explanations of the immense historical background and artworks were captivating, easy to understand, and engaging, never boring. Even in the hot weather, she expertly found shade for explanations and managed rest times to minimize our discomfort. Furthermore, her pronunciation and intonation were incredibly clear, and her positive energy was delightful. Thanks to her use of a tablet for explanations and materials, each artwork truly left a lasting impression. For a Vatican tour, you absolutely must request Guide Jang Yoon-hye. I highly recommend her. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

This is a review I'm writing on my way back to the hotel after finishing today's Vatican tour~ I took the Vatican tour with guide Hong Jin-pyo and I'm so satisfied! It definitely made the ceiling paintings (Creation of Adam) and other artworks much more impactful after hearing the explanations! He also told interesting stories in between and even recommended restaurants, which was perfect :) The itinerary was also great, so we didn't have to wait long to do the Vatican tour and go all the way up to the dome! I highly recommend the Vatican tour👍👍👍

We had come for the Vatican tour with a mindset that it would be very boring. Amy made sure that impression was turned 180 degrees around. The way she explained everything from the history to the architecture to the thought behind things created was extraordinary and engaging. Her discussions, little jokes and energetic persona made sure we did not realise the time had gone by. Truly enjoyable and kudos to our guide Amy

I was with Guide Hong Jin-pyo. It was absolutely the best! The Vatican was the most impressive part of my trip to Rome. His explanations were perfect, he told many interesting stories in between, and his guidance made everything comfortable. I highly recommend him. Being with the guide allowed me to learn and experience so much more! If you're still considering a Vatican guide... you absolutely must do it! You can never navigate that vast place alone, and with an expert by your side, you can see all the must-see artworks without missing anything!!!! I know it sounds like an advertisement, but this is a real review from my trip on June 15th, haha. It was truly the best!!!!! Thank you.

I visited the Vatican Museums, which I had been looking forward to the most during my trip to Rome. Since it's so vast and has so many artworks, I booked a docent tour, and it was truly an excellent choice. If I had come alone, I probably would have just vaguely glanced at the famous paintings without knowing what anything was and left exhausted. The tour was a more strenuous walk than I expected, but our guide efficiently led us through the route and shared fascinating behind-the-scenes stories about the artworks, so there was never a dull moment. The emotion I felt when I saw Raphael's "The School of Athens," which I had only seen in textbooks, in person is still vivid. The highlight was undoubtedly Michelangelo's ceiling frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. Photography is prohibited inside, so I had to take it all in with my eyes, but recalling Michelangelo's solitary working process that the guide explained before we entered, I felt completely overwhelmed by the artwork. I highly recommend it!!!

Minju, our guide, was truly, truly the best! 🫶👍 It was the best docent tour I've ever been on. There wasn't a single dull moment during the long hours. I was so surprised by her broad and deep knowledge in so many areas, including the history of the Vatican, painting techniques, symbolic meanings, the use of muscles in sculptures, and the personalities of the artists. Thanks to her, I learned and observed everything so enjoyably! She even told us the best spots for photos! She really explains things so well and entertainingly 👍👍. Moreover, seeing her laughing and getting along well with guides from other teams and nationalities, I felt she had a truly wonderful personality. This made the tour very comfortable for us. (I've had uncomfortable experiences on tours in other countries due to tension between guides ㅠ). My husband and I came for our honeymoon, and we both enjoyed it immensely! After the tour, our perspective on Rome changed, and we saw so much more, enriching our trip. If I had known, I would have also done the night tour to hear more of the guide's fun stories, which I regret ㅠㅠ. I heard she also gives tours in other regions, and I'd love to meet her again elsewhere. And the guide meticulously recommended great restaurants near Termini Station, which were amazing. At Scarpetta, the staff even gave us a double thumbs-up! 😆😆 We're leaving after the best docent tour. Guide Minju, you're the best!!

Yesterday, I took a tour with Guide Hong Jin-pyo. It was clear that he loves Italy more than anyone, and he explained the Vatican tour in an easy and fun way! He thoughtfully ensured we could listen to his explanations in the shade during the hot summer, and he also shared many useful tips. He moved us along quickly so we wouldn't get too tired, explaining key points effectively, and finished perfectly on time. It was excellent.
