After checking in, the tour guide will distribute tickets and audio guides to the group members (please keep your tickets safe, as they will be checked at least twice after entering the Vatican). Our tour guide was very dedicated and knowledgeable, providing us with detailed explanations of the history and interesting facts about the Vatican and its architecture, which was very enriching. Please note that once you leave a building within the Vatican, you cannot re-enter it. If you wish to visit again, you will need to purchase another ticket (for example, once you leave the museum for the chapel, you cannot return to the museum). Also, this tour does not include Raphael's Rooms. Tickets to climb the dome need to be purchased separately. The dome has two levels: the first level has 300 steps (with an elevator), and the second level to the very top has 200 steps (no elevator). From there, you can overlook the entire city from Rome's tallest building.

Amy was once again an excellent tour guide, giving everyone time for pictures and great explanations. This tour is highly recommended for first-timers. The Basilica is amazing. This tour started at 2:30 PM and Amy finished at 5:30 PM, but I ended up leaving the Basilica at 7 PM after looking at everything in detail. Amazing! Thank you, Amy, for everything!

Julian, the guide, was so funny and knows a lot about the places. He actually takes the time for everyone in the group to finish taking pictures before moving on.

itinerary: it was ok…too many options…not enough time guide: she was fine, audio was not catching everything she was saying. group size: perfect group size, everyone was talkative and friendly breaks: we had older people in our group so more breaks could have been made.

We had come for the Vatican tour with a mindset that it would be very boring. Amy made sure that impression was turned 180 degrees around. The way she explained everything from the history to the architecture to the thought behind things created was extraordinary and engaging.
