Eddy is the most amazing guide! He is equally knowledgeable and humorous. His detailed explanations helped us to appreciate the centuries of history, culture, and art preserved in the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. I would definitely recommend paying more for a guided experience! It's well worth it!

Let me share my personal experience from my trip in June. It was incredibly difficult to book tickets for the Colosseum on the official website, so I spent a long time searching on a platform before finding this tour. Initially, I wanted a tour with a live guide, but the tour fees were too expensive. I ended up choosing a package that included an app-based audio guide (as my trip was planned rather last-minute). There's no live guide. When you arrive at the site, you'll scan a QR code, and your phone will provide a Chinese tour guide (you need to download the POP guide app beforehand). The process involves arriving early at a shop near the Colosseum to exchange your voucher with a staff member. They will give you a physical ticket and the QR code for the audio guide. Once you have your ticket, you can head to the Colosseum. Since it's a timed entry, you can arrive 15 minutes early, which is roughly your entry time. At the entrance, look for staff wearing yellow vests. After entering, you'll wait for the security check. Although the platform mentioned skip-the-line access, I went on a weekday and didn't queue for long, only for security. (Customer service confirmed that this package indeed includes skip-the-line service after the security check). After exploring the Colosseum, you can rest outside for a bit before re-entering the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. (These have different entrances; there are three entrances to choose from here). It took me 4-5 hours to walk through these three sites; they are truly vast. Overall, I think it was a good experience, and communication with the official customer service was also quite prompt. Additionally, I've pasted below my previous conversation with customer service regarding questions I had about this package. I initially didn't understand what "excluding the arena floor" meant, and only understood after asking customer service. You can refer to it: "Excluding the arena floor" means you cannot walk to the center of the arena, the ground level where gladiators used to fight. The main difference between the two is the "viewing location": Your package (excluding the arena floor): You stand in the spectator stands (1st-2nd levels) overlooking the entire interior of the arena and the underground, offering the most magnificent photo angles. Package including the arena floor: You can walk onto the central wooden stage. So, even though my package didn't include walking onto the central stage (it was cheaper...), I could still see the entire panorama of the Colosseum, which I think is also good. Just for your reference.

Our Vatican Museums tour was outstanding. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive throughout the entire experience. She made sure everyone stayed together and never felt lost, which we really appreciated given how busy it can be. The electronic voucher provided by the Klook platform cannot be used directly. Please remember to report to the staff at the designated meeting point mentioned in the email sent by the organizer at the specified time. After checking in, the tour guide will distribute tickets and audio guides to the group members (please keep your tickets safe, as they will be checked at least twice after entering the Vatican). Our tour guide was very dedicated and knowledgeable, providing us with detailed explanations of the history and interesting facts about the Vatican and its architecture, which was very enriching. Please note that once you leave a building within the Vatican, you cannot re-enter it. If you wish to visit again, you will need to purchase another ticket (for example, once you leave the museum for the chapel, you cannot return to the museum). Also, this tour does not include Raphael's Rooms. Tickets to climb the dome need to be purchased separately. The dome has two levels: the first level has 300 steps (with an elevator), and the second level to the very top has 200 steps (no elevator). From there, you can overlook the entire city from Rome's tallest building.

Everything went well on this tour. I just feel like the itinerary was fast-paced, but I would still say it’s worth it. We had ample time to see the highlights of the trip. After the tour, you have the opportunity to spend your time in St Peter’s Basilica and explore the vast surroundings including the Pieta and souvenir shop.
