Overall, a very good experience. The guided tour helped us skip the queues and saved a lot of time. As the site is very large (including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill), having a guide made it much easier to understand the key highlights in a clear and concise way. Note that it is important to bring your passport, as the entrance will check the ticket (which is issued by the agency based on the booking name) and your passport. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, and the meeting point at the Crown Tours office was easy to find. Highly recommended.

The 2-hour-plus walk was quite insightful, but you can't cover everything. Just a few places, and the final destination will be the Colosseum. It's good for first-timers, but if you're a repeat visitor, it's best to buy your own tickets and explore more on your own.

Der Reiseführer ist einfach fesselnd. Könnte ihm tagelang zuhören. Auch das Personal ist vor Ort leicht an seiner lila Kleidung zu erkennen. Insgesamt kamen ein paar Gruppen von etwa 20 Leuten. Sie sind gut organisiert und zuverlässig.
