Buffet do Harbour Plaza Metropolis | Restaurante ocidental Promenade丨Almoço buffet, jantar buffet, chá da tarde buffet

Because it was my daughter's birthday, we wanted to have a dinner buffet. Last year, we had a very satisfying experience at Harbour Plaza Metropolis, so this year we booked through Klook again, which was very convenient. We were very satisfied with the food, environment, and service! The chilled lobster and king crab were all-you-can-eat and delicious! The salmon sashimi was very rich and fatty. I'd like to commend the chef who cut the sashimi; he was very kind. I asked for the belly part, and he gave me salmon belly, which was absolutely amazing. Thank you, chef! So, we had an encore! Also, the Thai yellow curry seafood was excellent. As for desserts, the mango Napoleon, bird's nest stewed milk, and almond something-or-other were also delicious. The only thing I didn't like all evening was the foie gras; it had a strange smell and wasn't my cup of tea. This time there were no oysters, which made it a little less perfect! The complimentary birthday cake was beautiful, but unfortunately, it arrived a bit late, at 8:30 PM. I almost thought we wouldn't get one. I hope the cake can arrive earlier next time, as it's hard to eat when it's so late!

A wide variety of food - seafood, hot food and dessert and unlimited drinks selection. The staff were courteous and accommodated my elderly parents seating in an area without needing walk down steps to get the food.

This is my second time dining at the Harbour Plaza Metropolis, and the dining experience remains excellent. Although it's a lunch buffet, it offers seafood ingredients such as oysters, crab legs, and crab claws. The defrosting process is well-executed, allowing you to taste the freshness of the food. Staff also replenish ingredients regularly, so there's no need to worry about items running out. Additionally, for main courses, there are dishes from various countries to suit different tastes. The Indian cuisine is rich and flavorful, making you want to eat more. The Chinese dim sum and noodles are also mouth-watering and suitable for older guests. Finally, the dessert and fruit sections are very appealing, with many durian-flavored items, including durian tarts and durian pulp, offering a feast for the palate. Fruits like cantaloupe, honeydew, and dragon fruit are also very fresh and sweet. This experience was excellent, and I will definitely return to the hotel for another buffet!

The Wednesday buffet was almost full, running from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The environment was very spacious, with a glass wall offering sea views and high ceilings, creating an open and airy feel. In terms of food: oysters 🦪, crab legs, lobster 🦞… For sashimi: salmon, scallops, red shrimp, sea bream… There was also a wide selection of hot dishes; white wine, red wine, orange juice, and apple juice were all free-flowing. Indeed, there were many choices, and the desserts were also outstanding, including cheesecake 🍰, Napoleon rolls… a wide variety to choose from. There was also a chocolate fountain, a favorite among children, and even MOVENPICK® ice cream. They also had Baked Alaska. Regarding service: plate clearing was very efficient. Special praise goes to the lady at the reception, wearing glasses and a black outfit, whose attitude was excellent. Overall, it is indeed a great choice among buffets.

Upon exiting the MTR Hung Hom Station, simply take the footbridge to the mall and you've arrived. It's very convenient and you don't have to worry about rain. Food replenishment is quick, and staff clear dishes very efficiently. They are polite and friendly. The food items are not commonly found in other restaurants, and the quality is very high, including fresh oysters, lobsters, and king crab, all very fresh with no icy taste. The ingredients are not often seen in other restaurants; it's about quality over quantity. They even have ginseng fruit. For the almond bird's nest, each portion is small, so you can try different varieties without waste. The presentation is neat. The ice cream is Mövenpick with eight flavors. My parents rated it very highly.

Location: Conveniently located right outside Hung Hom Station, easy to access. Price: Compared to other buffets sold on Klook, the price is quite high. Other buffets generally average around HKD 500. However, considering it was the only one available for Father's Day booking, and I assume this expensive package includes free-flow red and white wine (though hotel buffets usually include free-flow soft drinks, coffee, and milk tea), it might be a bit of a waste for those who don't drink alcohol. Food Variety: A wide array of hot and cold dishes, almost overwhelming. Just for desserts, there are cakes, ice cream, pancakes, Chinese sweet soups, tofu pudding, chocolate fountain, and many other choices. Taste: Overall, I wouldn't say it's exceptionally delicious. Apart from the very fresh and sweet seafood, other hot dishes were just average, nothing particularly outstanding that would make you want an encore. However, with so many choices, it somewhat justifies the price. Time: There are two sessions. We chose the first session from 5 PM to 7:15 PM. 2 hours and 15 minutes really isn't enough time to eat. By the time you're full from the first round, it's already time to leave before you can even digest and go for a second round. But buffets are always a bit unfair to those who eat less 😢 No choice, celebrating Father's Day was the main priority! 🙌🏻😂

This time, I booked through Klook and not only received a booking discount, but the value for money was also quite high. The restaurant environment was comfortable, the staff service was polite, and plates were cleared quickly. This time, I was celebrating a friend's birthday, and I called beforehand to arrange a birthday dessert and candle blowing, which the restaurant also accommodated – highly commendable! The lunch buffet here offers a wide variety of food, including freshly shucked American oysters. The oysters were large and fresh, and although each person was limited to two per serving, the supply was continuous. Seafood such as sashimi, king crab, mussels, and crayfish were also refilled quickly and were very fresh. Additionally, there was Movenpick ice cream, waffles, and many dessert options like tofu pudding, grass jelly, and durian pancakes. Drinks were also self-service and all-you-can-drink. I will definitely visit again.

A huge variety of food choice for tea buffet, with all sort of drinks available. Deeserts are great. Service is good too.

今次是吃lunch buffet,安排了靠窗邊座位，都算舒適，海鮮有蟹腳焗蠔蝦，龍蝦湯，燒牛扒羊架，最愛榴連芒果pancake, 芒果拿破崙，movenpick ice cream, 生日安排了生日碟，侍應主動幫我們影相。整體都唔錯的，如果用餐時間可以去到三點更好了。

真是性價比超高的下午茶自助餐！食物的選擇很多，凍海鮮有蟹腳、熟蝦和蜆，日式剌身；熱食也有西泰日中式的飯麵和點心；甜品有幾款榴蓮食品和不同的蛋糕、水果夾餅、豆腐花、梳芙里；連雪糕也有8款Movenpick口味，再加上小孩喜歡的爆谷和朱古力噴泉和小吃，讓我們一家人都吃得很開心，下次一定會再來。
