We had an amazing heli hike experience and were so fortunate to have Tyana as our guide! She was incredibly friendly, informative, and approachable throughout the entire trip. She made an effort to speak with every participant individually, constantly checked in to make sure we were doing okay, and patiently answered all our questions. Tyana shared so much interesting information about Fox Glacier, which made the experience even more memorable and meaningful. We felt very safe and well taken care of throughout the hike. All the necessary gear was provided, including waterproof pants and jackets, backpacks, hiking sticks, waterproof boots, and crampons, so we were fully prepared for the conditions. The hike itself was manageable and not overly tiring, with plenty of pit stops along the way to rest and take beautiful photos. Overall, it was such a fun and unforgettable experience, and we’re really happy to have had Tyana as our guide. Highly recommend!

This is one of the must do activities in New Zealand! I was initially skeptical thinking it wouldnt be enjoyable but I had so much fun! Everything was provided which kept us warm (even sweating!), instructions were clear, and we felt safe with the tour guide Zeki! He was very friendly and told us many stories and fun facts.

The counter service (Quanzhou sister & mu) was very enthusiastic and provided complete information and surrounding travel tips. When we were getting equipped, the staff patiently explained everything to my brother and sister and helped them get dressed. The best part was our coach, Zeki, who was incredibly professional, explaining the formation of the ice cave and the global warming crisis along the way. In addition, he gave every team member enough time to take photos, videos, and rest. He even demonstrated how to tie a safety lock on site so that team members could rappel down to the melting ice. It was an absolutely fantastic trip.

Aunque es un poco caro, es una actividad que realmente hay que probar en Nueva Zelanda. Pero por el paseo en helicóptero y las 3 horas de caminata por el glaciar, diría que vale la pena. Me sentí seguro durante toda la actividad y proporcionaron vestimenta y equipo buenos y suficientes para garantizar mi seguridad y que me mantuviera seco. Los guías y el personal de servicio en el check-in son todos muy profesionales y amables.

There are many places to see glaciers on New Zealand's South Island, and Fox Glacier is definitely one to recommend. After checking in, you can store your belongings, collect your equipment, and listen to a full safety briefing. After the briefing, you'll take a shuttle to the airport for a helicopter ride. About ten minutes later, you'll arrive at Fox Glacier itself. We walked on it for about three hours, marveling at the beauty of nature, but also lamenting the rapid disappearance of the glacier, which made us cherish this trip even more.

令人終身難忘的體驗，服務人員態度非常好，貼心的為我們準備的所有的裝備。搭乘直升機行走冰川，同行80歲的舅媽，都可以輕鬆的完成行程，沒有人有藉口可以拒絕這樣的人身體驗。真的值得推薦。

Fantastisk opplevelse, turen går i et overkommelig tempo for folk over 50 år, selv om den er på rundt 3 timer+. Men hvis du har svake knær eller ankler, må du vurdere dette på nytt, da det er mange isete trinn. Isbreen er veldig interessant og fantastisk. Guiden vår – Flava – er også veldig informativ og hjelpsom. Dette er definitivt en av de beste aktivitetene jeg noensinne har deltatt på.

預訂當天因為天候因素取消，幸好有多留一天當預備行程後面才得以成行，搭直升機親眼見到還有實際走在冰川上都讓人覺得不可置信，非常推薦！！

The glacier hike experience was excellent! 👍 The equipment was complete; you only needed to bring your own sunglasses and a wool hat. The explanations were detailed, and they helped take care of children's clothing and safety. Most of the group members were Chinese, and they were well-behaved, keeping the team orderly throughout. The guide was also very patient and enthusiastic, explaining everything thoroughly and trying their best to explore interesting routes. We found several blue ice caves and even drank glacier water. The hiking time was long enough, and the difficulty was not high; my son kept saying he hadn't had enough fun. However, a reminder: Fox Glacier and the other two glaciers are very far apart. If you're starting from Tekapo, Tasman Glacier is more suitable. Make sure to plan your route and navigate when booking.

The process at FOX Glacier is very well-organized, and you'll receive email notifications before your trip. All equipment is provided (except for sunscreen and sunglasses). Each guide takes a slightly different route, and groups are typically around 11 people. You'll spend about 2.5 hours hiking on the glacier, where the guide will lead you through various glacier terrains and explain related knowledge about glaciers. It's a lot of fun!
