Tour Guiado de Observação de Estrelas Camaleão no Lago Tekapo

We saw the Milky Way and learned a lot about stars. I recommend doing this towards the start of your trip—especially if the moon is not full. That way, you can keep spotting stars for the rest of the trip.

The tour guide thoughtfully prepared hot cocoa with marshmallows and blankets for us, allowing us to lie on the grassland and gaze at the Southern Hemisphere's starry sky. They explained the names of each star, how to find the South Celestial Pole, and more, making it a night full of knowledge and romance ☺️. They also gave us reusable cocoa cups, and every time I see that cup, it reminds me of the magnificent starry sky that night ☺️☺️.

Estella, our guide, was lovely and was very knowledgeable. Coral was our other guide who helped us with taking cool photos and provided hot chocolates. It was a full moon night so we couldn’t see the Milky Way as we wanted but it was still beautiful regardless. We were given blankets to keep warm, hot chocolate and UNLIMITED marshmallows at the fire pit during the last 15 mins. They had two telescopes and we got enough time to observe the stars, the moon and also Venus which was visible. Would definitely recommend!

LOVE this tour!!! George (guide) was very professional, experienced and good at story telling. Very lucky to have clean sky for stargazing and it’s so nice that the tour provided hot chocolate, blanket and marshmallow! 100% recommended!!

勁好呀，因為我本身係冇揸車啦咁所以呢我就另外再俾咗錢俾佢哋幫我安排接駁車，因為佢嗰個要觀星嘅地方都有啲遠啦 一去到真係好似銀河咁呀 同埋佢有兩部好專業嘅觀星鏡 可以睇到好多唔同嘅星星 都知道咗好多關於星星嘅知識 仲會有朱古力飲啦 同埋最後有個環節係燒棉花糖 佢哋仲會幫你影相，然後會send返俾你囉

I chose the Chinese tour group, and the introduction was very detailed. The starry sky was also very clear, and we even had hot cocoa with marshmallows at the end. It was a great experience.

非常好的體驗!天空很清很美很震撼!加上有趣的普通話講解.整個活動變得很難忘.活動是1.躺下用肉眼看2.用儀器看3.拍照時間4.燒棉花糖. 但真的很冷,記得多穿衣服!!!幸好有大毛毯派,不然捱不了那麼久.官方跟我們拍的照片很美,連極光也拍下了.自己駕車去集合點好一點,因步行會很黑.

I had an incredible experience on a stargazing tour with Siu Fung from Malaysia. Her passion and knowledge about the night sky were truly impressive. The location was easy to find, offering stunning views of the Milky Way. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Lake Tekapo.

工作人員講解的非常非常詳細，觀星望遠鏡也看的非常清楚。但希望下次可以適度請遊客小聲一點，中文場的某國人真的太吵了，完全把工作人員講解知識的聲音壓過去🙂後半場我只聽到遊客吵雜的講話聲、還有一直被插隊，希望下次可以柔性勸導遊客不要這麼失控，啊還有，熱可可的蓋子要記得蓋緊，我的蓋子剛好沒有蓋緊所以我的圍巾上都是好喝的熱可可了🥲
