Experiência de Observação de Estrelas na Cúpula do Projeto Céu Escuro no Observatório Mt John

第一次參加觀星團 比官網更便宜 而且服務非常好，你不用擔心衣服不暖亂，他們會提供連身羽絨外套。好像有四五個尺碼！ 唯獨是可惜是因為我們參加當晚是正月十五。是滿月～所以對於觀星是有影響的、比我想像中有點差距。 暗黑計劃他們會把你從山下再載上天文台保護區，然後由專人講解關於天文各種現象，其中間會問大家有沒有關於天文各種疑問？如果對十二行星和一些專業天文英文詞彙不太懂的話 可能了解起來會有點吃力。 不過他們有早一點的中文場提供參加～而且他們會使用天文台裏面的超大型觀星天文望遠鏡這是我第一次接觸到的覺得非常神奇機會亦都很難得！但是如果遇上初一十五月圓日子的附近日期我建議別參加了，因為可能會比較失望。

Due to the next day's itinerary, I was the only one in the group who chose to go up the mountain despite the low visibility. Even so, the guide enthusiastically led me through the observatory's facilities and did their best to explain the various stars that could be observed in the night sky that day. After the tour, they even refunded half of the tour fee as an apology. It was truly a wonderful and unforgettable night.

On March 12, 2024, due to the weather, we were unable to see the beautiful Milky Way. However, our colleague Mok at the center patiently and meticulously answered all our questions about the starry sky. The friendly Cantonese conversation made us feel even warmer, like meeting a long-lost friend in a distant land. Additionally, because we couldn't change to other activities due to time constraints, we were able to receive a full refund. On March 13, we visited the center again, and our colleague Ada explained the refund process in great detail. She also sent emails to us and followed up with the service provider. The warm hospitality of every colleague left us with wonderful memories of our trip. We look forward to our next encounter, when we can witness the mysteries of the starry sky together.

日本語のツアーに参加したのですが、大大大満足でした。当日は天候が怪しく、暗くなってから空を見上げても雲がかかっていて、今日のツアー大丈夫かなぁと心配していましたが、運よく夜中のツアーの時間には晴れてくれました。日本語(母国語)のツアーを選択したのも大正解でした。ガイドさんは天文オタクのようにマニアックな知識についても教えてくださり、非常に興味を持ってニュージーランドの空を観察することが出来ました。天文台は山の上のほうにうありますが、真っ暗でスマホのライトも禁止なので、足元に注意を払わないと危ないです。ただ、普通の大人がちゃんとガイドさんの言う事を聞いて行動していれば、何も問題ないと思われます。後からダークスカイプロジェクトからのメールで知ったのですが、代理店経由でなく直接予約していれば、公式の方への口コミ投稿で、抽選で参加費キャッシュバックがあるみたいでした。今度から海外でのアトラクションは、klook経由でなく直接予約できないかを検討しようと思いました。

My family and I attended the midnight session on the 27th of January 2026. Right away we knew this was going to be special as the night sky was completely clear for the first time in two weeks. The moon set shortly after we left Lake Tekapo on a drive up to Mt John, which took about 15 minutes. Our guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what we could see, and all of us came away in awe of the majesty of the night sky visible in the dark sky reserve. Definitely one of the memorable sights of our whole trip!

Although I booked an English explanation, it was still very worthwhile! How many times in life can you visit a stargazing research center and use such precise instruments to observe the stars? And to have three telescopes simultaneously observing the Milky Way, the moon, and stars in a dark sky preserve with no light pollution! It was a truly worthwhile experience!

Although the weather was bad that day, the indoor Dark Sky Project was a great alternative. The guide was Malaysian and spoke Chinese, and their hospitality and explanations were excellent. My knowledge of the starry sky greatly improved, and the pictures were also beautiful.

The night sky in Tekapo is incredibly dense with stars, and the Milky Way is very clear. The weather is great, but it's freezing cold, so make sure to dress warmly. Overall, it's quite amazing.

The ascent and descent take a total of half an hour. The first 45 minutes are dedicated to a stargazing introduction, followed by 45 minutes for photography and telescope viewing. The introduction was very detailed, and the guide also helped with taking photos.

A highly recommended activity! Not only can you see the spectacular Milky Way, but you can also observe Saturn through a professional stargazing telescope, which is truly breathtaking!
