Ez a gasztronómiai utazás valóban fantasztikus volt! Az idegenvezető nemcsak elvitt minket, hogy megkóstoljuk a helyi, autentikus ételeket, és bejártuk a helyiek által kedvelt, történelmi piacot, hanem a gazdag tudása is mély benyomást tett rám. Minden étel kóstolása közben elmagyarázta az ételek mögött rejlő változások történetét. Az ételek fejlődésén keresztül mintha az egész város fejlődését, valamint az itt élő generációk életérzését láttam volna. Ez nemcsak az ízlelőbimbók élvezete volt, hanem egy mély kulturális élmény is. Az útvonal nagyon jól szervezett volt, az ár-érték arány kiváló, erősen ajánlom mindenkinek, aki mélyebben meg szeretné ismerni ezt a várost!

You'll need to make your own way to the market! Our tour guide, Miss Siriluk, is very beautiful! She took us to several authentic local food stalls in the market. Please note that you'll need to pay for these yourself, but they are all very affordable! You can also ask her if there's anything specific you'd like to buy, and she'll take you there. Local markets are generally very inexpensive, so remember to compare prices!

Thanks for tour guide,Lek. He is a well-knowledge guide of this tour. First, we went to a traditional market, and I found a particular fruit that my friend’s favorite. Then, we went to Longyang market and Waroro market. The two markets are most tourists loved. In the market, Lek had talked to me about the history of Chiangmai. It’s really interesting to me to know about the history and culture that I’ve never learned in books from local people. Then, we went to see some houses along the carnal where people came from the mountain tribes. It really seems like differnt from other places in Chiangmai, not so fancy but for real. The last spot is silver temple. There are some metal murals showing the original story of the temple in mountain. It’s nice weather for today’s tour and I highly recommended this tour and Lek!

Chiang Mai egy lassú tempójú város, ahol érdemes templomokat látogatni! Immy idegenvezetőnk nagyon kedves, és angolul is tud kommunikálni! A túra három templomot foglal magában, az idegenvezető bemutatja az egyes templomok kultúráját és eredetét. Fontos megjegyezni, hogy néhány főtemplom melletti kisebb templomba nők nem léphetnek be, de a főtemplomok mindegyike látogatható! Később elvitt minket egy helyi hagyományos piacra. Áprilisban nagyon meleg volt az idő, Immy először elvitt minket, hogy vegyünk egy híres thai jeges teát. A piacra érve elmondhatja az idegenvezetőnek, mit szeretne vásárolni, és ő elviszi önt a megfelelő helyre. A piaci árak is nagyon kedvezőek, itt vásárolhat szuveníreket. Végül az idegenvezető megkínált minket néhány helyi különleges finomsággal is. Nagyon jó utazás volt!

Our guide, Ploy brought us to the wet market for some introduction to the ingredient. Then we went to the cooking school, cut some leaves from their garden and begin cooking. The staffs prepped all the ingredient for us, with some minimal cutting, pounding and mixing of ingredients, then begins the cooking. The cooking itself was fast paced cause you cannot let it burn, so you need to catch up fast, but it’s definitely manageable. Overall, it’s an amazing experience to eat what we’ve prepared! Huge kudos to the staffs and chefs there, will definitely come again! Now I can go back home and cook for my loved ones, with the recipe provided!

The cooking class experience was excellent. The market tour guide explained everything very clearly, and our instructor, Mai, was great at creating a fun atmosphere, so everyone had a wonderful time. The food portions were very generous; I recommend bringing a food container to take the dessert back to your hotel to enjoy at your leisure. Also, it's definitely worth paying extra for the air-conditioned room because there are mosquitoes outdoors, and it gets a bit warm after cooking. Enjoying the food in an air-conditioned room is the smart choice! The only downside was that the transfer vehicle didn't have air conditioning, and the staff kept taking photos of us but never shared them. I tried contacting them via email and Facebook Messenger, but received no response. I had assumed that since the staff were taking so many pictures, I didn't need to take many of my family for souvenirs, and now I regret not having those photos. It's a real shame that I can't retrieve them!
