O guia não só nos levou para provar uma variedade de iguarias locais autênticas e visitar mercados históricos muito apreciados pelos moradores, mas o que mais me impressionou foi seu vasto conhecimento. Enquanto provávamos cada prato, o guia nos explicava as histórias por trás da evolução dessas comidas. Através da evolução dessas iguarias, pude vislumbrar a trajetória de desenvolvimento de toda a cidade e o espírito de vida dos residentes que aqui vivem há gerações. Não foi apenas um deleite para o paladar, mas também uma profunda experiência cultural. O itinerário foi muito bem planejado e o custo-benefício é excelente. Recomendo vivamente a todos que desejam conhecer a cidade em profundidade!

You'll need to make your own way to the market! Our tour guide, Miss Siriluk, is very beautiful! She took us to several authentic local food stalls in the market. Please note that you'll need to pay for these yourself, but they are all very affordable! You can also ask her if there's anything specific you'd like to buy, and she'll take you there. Local markets are generally very inexpensive, so remember to compare prices!

Then, we went to Longyang market and Waroro market. The two markets are most tourists loved. In the market, Lek had talked to me about the history of Chiangmai. It’s really interesting to me to know about the history and culture that I’ve never learned in books from local people. Then, we went to see some houses along the carnal where people came from the mountain tribes. It really seems like differnt from other places in Chiangmai, not so fancy but for real. The last spot is silver temple. There are some metal murals showing the original story of the temple in mountain. It’s nice weather for today’s tour and I highly recommended this tour and Lek!

When you visit Chiang Mai, a city known for its relaxed pace, exploring temples is a must! Our guide, Ms. Immy, was absolutely lovely and communicated well in English. The tour included three temples, and she explained the culture and origins of each. Please note that women are not allowed in some smaller temples next to the main ones, but the main temples are always accessible. Afterward, she took us to a local traditional market. Since it was April and very hot, Immy first treated us to some famous Thai iced tea. Once inside the market, you can tell your guide what you'd like to buy, and she'll take you to the right vendors. The prices in the market are very affordable, making it a great place to buy souvenirs. Finally, our guide also treated us to some local specialty snacks. It was a wonderful trip!

Our guide, Ploy brought us to the wet market for some introduction to the ingredient. Then we went to the cooking school, cut some leaves from their garden and begin cooking. The staffs prepped all the ingredient for us, with some minimal cutting, pounding and mixing of ingredients, then begins the cooking. The cooking itself was fast paced cause you cannot let it burn, so you need to catch up fast, but it’s definitely manageable. Overall, it’s an amazing experience to eat what we’ve prepared! Huge kudos to the staffs and chefs there, will definitely come again! Now I can go back home and cook for my loved ones, with the recipe provided!

The cooking class experience was excellent. The market tour guide explained everything very clearly, and our instructor, Mai, was great at creating a fun atmosphere, so everyone had a wonderful time. The food portions were very generous; I recommend bringing a food container to take the dessert back to your hotel to enjoy at your leisure. Also, it's definitely worth paying extra for the air-conditioned room because there are mosquitoes outdoors, and it gets a bit warm after cooking. Enjoying the food in an air-conditioned room is the smart choice! The only downside was that the transfer vehicle didn't have air conditioning, and the staff kept taking photos of us but never shared them. I tried contacting them via email and Facebook Messenger, but received no response. I had assumed that since the staff were taking so many pictures, I didn't need to take many of my family for souvenirs, and now I regret not having those photos. It's a real shame that I can't retrieve them!
