The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was exactly like the photos. There was enough room for us to open up two luggage. Very convenient as there are self-service washing machine within the hotel. Location was fabulous, very near to all the tourist spots.

I did enjoy my stay at Prince Smart Inn Kyoto Sanjo. The location was unbeatable. The room was really big for Japan standards & that there are windows you can open. The self check-in was quite easy. The free amenities & robes were a great bonus. The shower was really great. It just is a bit apparent that the rooms & some facilities are a bit overused & begin to be a bit well not so clean anymore.
