Absolutely loved our stay here! We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade, and the room was amazing. The hotel has fantastic facilities, and having a bakery downstairs was such a lovely touch, especially for breakfast. The rooftop is incredible too, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto!

A lovely hotel! The staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms were bigger than I expected and I had a triple room. Opted for breakfast and dinner at the hotel and wasn't disappointed. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is in close proximity to everything and about a nine minute taxi ride from the Kyoto train station. The rooms were spacious, clean and aromatic! The room had a bathtub, shower and sink with a separate water closet. I used the gym and was quite surprised with all the state of the art equipment they had. They have a bakery on premise, it offers a great selection of sandwich’s, drinks etc. We also had dinner ( make reservations) at their upscale restaurant and it was very good with cocktails and wine! I did have a situation while steaming my white blouses. The blueing agent ran onto my blouses from the steamer. The hotel manager, Kamada, was very kind and offered to send them out to the cleaners and to have them sent on to my next hotel in Tokyo, if they didn’t arrive by the time we were leaving in the am! The service was impeccable and I can’t say enough about Kamada and her staff and their awesome assistance during our entire stay! We will be back.

Modern aesthetics, clean and subtle decor. Loved having a coffee bar and fresh pastries for purchase in the morning right next to the lobby. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Laundry on site with dryer and can notify you via email when done. only a 5-6 minute walk from the subway station.
