Fantastic 5.0
Stayed at Onyado Nono Kyoto Shichijo for 2 nights in May'26. About 7min - 10min walk from Kyoto Station. Along the way you passed by shopping mall, eatery and 7-11. Opposite hotel there's a mini mart. Hotel is clean. Served good spread of breakfast buffet, the milk (hot or cold) and matcha though from dispenser is creamy and delicious. At night served ramen free for all guest. Lobby has hot / cold water dispenser and, coffee machine dispenser too. Massage chair at lobby for all guest, onsen is refreshing and served either yaukult or, ice-cream free flow. Highly recommended.

Fantastic 5.0
A triple room with breakfast for one night is about 8,000 yen. It includes welcome dumplings, free popsicles, and free late-night soba noodles. The entire hotel embodies the aesthetic of a Japanese onsen ryokan, which is very beautiful. There are also five private onsen baths, two of which are natural hot springs, and they are incredibly comfortable. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. In Taiwan, a hotel like this would likely cost over 13,000 NTD. To enjoy such a high-quality, aesthetically pleasing ryokan at this price is truly wonderful!

This hotel is highly recommended! 1. It's conveniently located near Kyoto Station, with excellent quality and a great atmosphere. 2. They offer "Relax and Afternoon Free Time," with complimentary high-quality Japanese sake (about 10 varieties) and beer, accompanied by Japanese snacks, ice cream, and tea. There's also a Japanese green tea experience, making guests feel truly at home! It was a delightful surprise! Additionally, they provide materials for guests to create their own Japanese-style charms as souvenirs, which is a unique touch. Finally, they offer two types of facial masks, hair oil, and disposable skincare products, allowing guests to choose what they need, showing thoughtful consideration! My stay this time was very pleasant and comfortable!

Fantastic 5.0
Since many of Kyoto’s main attractions are relatively short taxi rides apart, the hotel’s location was excellent for getting around. It was ideally situated and made traveling between the sights very convenient.

Fantastic 5.0
our hotel is very convenient to all the places that we wanted to go. Food is everywhere, 711 and ichiran ramen are just next-door away. Sensoji Temple is three minutes walk and the Metro is right across the hotel. It’s also very quiet. We had a good night sleep. The room is a little bit small but it’s good enough for three people with three beds. will recommend.

Fantastic 5.0
The room was very clean, with no strange odors, and more spacious than expected. The separate bathroom and toilet were very convenient. The hotel front desk staff were very professional, and the overall stay was excellent. Although there's a business supermarket nearby, the items sold aren't very suitable for tourists, and other supermarkets are a bit far, which is a slight drawback.

More about Kyoto hotels

Staying overview: what to expect for hotel budgets in Kyoto

Staying in Kyoto spans a clear range: the top tier runs roughly three times the price of the bottom tier, so you can move from budget to luxury without changing city. The premium tier tends to be the best balance of cost and comfort for most travellers, offering the strongest value for money.

Hotel class comparison: how the four tiers stack up and who they suit

Economy options sit at the affordable end and are noticeably lower than standard, appealing to travellers focused on keeping costs down. Standard rooms are a modest step up and suit those wanting a bit more comfort without a big price jump. The premium tier is the sweet spot and marks a major decision point: moving from premium to luxury is the biggest jump in price, so choose luxury if you want a clearly more upscale experience and are ready to pay for it. Luxury properties are the most expensive and best for travellers prioritising top-end comfort and amenities despite the larger premium.

When travellers from the Philippines typically book

Rates are lowest in 8月 and highest in 11月; a budget-led trip fits best in 8月 when nightly rates tend to be much lower than in 11月. Rooms are typically booked about 33 days ahead, so plan roughly a month in advance — allow more lead time if travelling in the priciest month.
