This was my first trip to Osaka and Kyoto, and I booked this one-day tour. The journey was very comfortable and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Gu Wenji, was especially energetic and thoughtful. He explained the history of the attractions and what to do there in detail, and he was able to do so in three different languages for tourists from various places. He also thoughtfully reminded us of the restroom locations at each stop, suggested cooling drinks to buy at convenience stores when the weather was hot, and even shared recommendations for restaurants. We are very grateful for Tour Guide Gu Wenji's arrangements! Overall, the trip was very pleasant and wonderful, with beautiful scenery. Starting from Kyoto, we had the option to be dropped off in Osaka. If I have the chance again, I will definitely book these one-day tours again. I highly recommend this trip!

Review for Guide Oh Seok-bong Thanks to Guide Oh Seok-bong, we had a truly enjoyable and happy trip, creating wonderful memories. We were so grateful for his kind and enthusiastic guidance from beginning to end. ^^ He provided detailed explanations about the tourist attractions and Japanese culture, and even personally recommended delicious restaurants and helped with reservations, which made our trip incredibly comfortable. In particular, he introduced us to many must-try delicious foods in Osaka, making our trip even more delightful. 😊 We sincerely thank you for always taking such meticulous care of us throughout the trip. If we ever come back to Japan, we would definitely love to meet Guide Oh Seok-bong again! Thank you so much. We wish you good health and only good things always! ^^♡

This itinerary was very intense but full of discoveries. The landscapes were incredible and particularly worth seeing. John, our guide, was friendly and shared a lot of information about the different places we visited in both English and Chinese. Many thanks again to him for the complimentary carton of milk from Miyama at the end of the excursion. This gift was much appreciated. I highly recommend this itinerary!

We boarded the bus in Kyoto, and our tour group consisted of members from various countries. Our guide, Xiao Shen, switched into four-language mode, introducing everything in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. His humorous and engaging style made everyone feel very comfortable. Xiao Shen handled all ticket purchases, coordination, and provided information about the train, Arashiyama route, and meeting points via Line. This allowed us to explore freely and simply meet at the designated time. The driver was excellent, providing a smooth ride that prevented motion sickness, and the seats were clean and comfortable. During the Hozugawa River boat ride, the weather was perfect. Four boatmen guided us downstream, introducing the environment and rock formations with simple animal vocabulary, accompanied by physical interactions and occasional tricks from the boatmen. With a gentle breeze and beautiful scenery, the trip was truly enjoyable.

We’re so glad we decided to book our group tour with GoGoDay! From start to finish, everything was very well organised, making our trip smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. A special thank you to our wonderful tour guide, Lui, who was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful throughout the trip. We really appreciated how Lui shared interesting historical and cultural background at every place we visited. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with GoGoDay and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a well-organised, enjoyable, and memorable group tour.

An incredible day covering three of Kyoto and Nara's best spots, all seamlessly organized through Klook. Pickup and logistics were smooth from start to finish, which made a huge difference traveling with a young child. The Arashiyama Bamboo Forest was magical — walking through those towering green stalks is something photos just don't do justice. Nara Park was a highlight for the whole family, with the friendly deer bowing for crackers and roaming freely around the temples. And Fushimi Inari's endless torii gates were absolutely stunning, especially with the golden afternoon light filtering through. Special thanks to our guide, Mr. Eric — his knowledge, warmth, and patience made the day so much more enjoyable. He kept things running on time while still giving us space to explore and take photos. A fantastic, well-organized day trip — highly recommend booking through Klook with Mr. Eric if you can!

The tour was well worth the money, and our guide, Gary, was very professional. When I visited Osaka last winter, I booked a one-day tour through Klook, and the guide contacted me via WhatsApp beforehand. This time, no one contacted me in advance, which made me quite anxious. However, everything started very smoothly once we arrived at the designated time and meeting point. My husband, children, and I had a wonderful trip, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and had a great time tasting green tea. I highly recommend booking this tour if it's your first time visiting the places on the itinerary, as it takes care of your meals and transportation.

What to know before visiting Osaka

Quick snapshot of Osaka’s visitor rhythm

Osaka’s Klook bookings are led by theme parks, attraction passes and observation decks, with historical sites and museums also popular. Demand builds in late autumn and peaks in December, while late summer—especially September—sees noticeably lighter visitor numbers.

When to visit and how prices behave

According to Klook booking data, the busiest month is December and the quietest month is September. Prices on Klook trend highest in August and remain elevated into September, then dip toward the end of the year and reach their lowest typical level in June. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider traveling in June or September; for lively, peak-season atmosphere aim for December when demand is strongest. Note that prices and demand diverge a little: demand peaks in December while the priciest months by Klook data are in late summer.

Tips for travellers from the Philippines

Most travellers from the Philippines book about a week in advance, with many locking in plans earlier when schedules get busy. If you prefer flexibility you can often arrange experiences a few days out, but during December peak season it helps to plan sooner — use Klook to compare options and secure popular theme-park and attraction-pass choices.
