Akemi was an absolute delight! We were lucky enough to have her all to ourselves as there were eight of us, which made the tour feel really personal and relaxed.
Akemi was incredibly knowledgeable, warm and informative. She was more than happy to answer all of our questions and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and really interesting. She also did a wonderful job interacting with our children and keeping them engaged throughout the tour.
This was my first ever walking tour, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We learnt so much about Gion, its history and culture, and Akemi’s knowledge and lovely personality made it even more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto, especially families. Thank you, Akemi, for such a wonderful experience!

We had such a wonderful experience with Wajib! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour feel relaxed and enjoyable. He shared so much interesting information about the area and culture, while also making sure we had plenty of time to take everything in and enjoy the experience.
Wajib was especially thoughtful and attentive throughout the tour, and you could really tell that he wanted us to have a great experience. We never felt rushed, and the tour was a perfect balance of sightseeing, learning, and enjoying the atmosphere.
We would absolutely recommend Wajib and this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto. He was a fantastic guide and made our day even more memorable!

Milo was my tour guide and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable on everything Kyoto and i thoroughly enjoyed listening to him. I also loved how he met me at my hotel. He took me to some lovely souvenir shops and around the Keisha district and out of the hustle and bustle. Overall great experience!

An amazing experience. Interactive artworks and installations that evoke emotion, thought, and a sense of wonder. We spent three hours there. The venue itself is well-designed and high-quality, with restrooms and vending machines on every floor. Highly recommended.

It is a bit pricey, but with its pretty garden and the feeling of being well-cared for, it's a restaurant that parents would love. We made a reservation in advance so we were able to get right in, and after eating, going right next door to Blue Bottle for coffee was just perfect.

Every dish was delicious, and the ingredients and presentation were exquisite. Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was very attentive. The dishes were served faster than expected, so there wasn't a long wait between courses. The overall dining atmosphere was very comfortable, making it an excellent kaiseki experience.
