Nice experience taking the Randen train to Arashiyama, train pass by the town and houses, journey take about 15-20 minutes. The Randen station stop at the Arashiyama town so very convenient. Also take the train to Kinkaji temple. Another beautiful place with nice scenery and relaxing atmosphere. 1 day subway pass covers all subway stop in between.
