Gifu Prefecture Day trips

Anyone who isn't sure which tour company to choose should take a look at my experience. My tour guide this time was Ryuu Ken (Little Liu), and he was absolutely wonderful! He is fluent in Japanese, English, and Chinese 👍 and is also extremely responsible! We had 1.5 hours at the Takayama Old Town and 2.5 hours at Shirakawa-go. I felt that 1.5 hours at Takayama Old Town was a bit short to fully enjoy it, but I still managed to eat everything I wanted to! The other members of the group were also of very high quality; the bus rides were super quiet, and everyone was extremely punctual. Based on my observations, there were foreigners, people from Hong Kong, and people from Taiwan! Our driver, Mr. Ishikawa, was also very skilled, and the bus was extremely clean with no strange odors or cigarette smoke. All in all, I highly recommend joining a guided day trip to Takayama.

It was a very fun and informative tour! Takayama and Shirakawa-go are very beautiful places. Our guide Stacey was very accommodating to our needs and kept us entertained throughout our tour. I would recommend this tour.

Thanks to our guide Max, this tour was wonderful because we were able to visit Shirakawago, Takayama, and Gujo Hachiman—places I really wanted to see—all in just one day! It was so convenient to easily visit spots that would otherwise be a hassle to reach independently, and each region had its own unique atmosphere, making it a lot of fun to explore 😊 Anyone who loves nature and the countryside will be very satisfied with this tour! The guide was also friendly and gave great explanations, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Thanks to you, I made many wonderful memories 🥰 I would definitely love to use this tour again the next time I visit another destination. It was a well-planned and satisfying tour. My My parents and I are enjoying this trip. We really liked the scenery and the lunch here. On the bus, I learned about the UNESCO Omicho-gassho-zukuri style village. I like listening to stories. Thank you, Team Leader Kana and the bus driver. Keep it up—make sure to keep offering day tours

We met at the Silver Clock in Nagoya Station, which was a very easy-to-find location! As a solo traveler, I was initially quite worried, but the tour guide spoke fluent Japanese, Mandarin, and English, and gave very clear instructions. We spent two hours at each of the two attractions, which felt like just enough time. There's no way around it, as the round trip from Nagoya takes almost five hours in total. However, having a dedicated car service is a must for solo travelers and those without a driver's license. The tour bus was clean and comfortable, and I was very satisfied overall. We returned to Nagoya Station around 6:30 PM that evening, and the timing was consistent with the itinerary description!

Shirakawa-go and Takayama Tour is one of the best tours you can get in Nagoya. The tour consists of going to Takayama with some guided excursions. The orientation while inside the bus with the maps provided by the guide was enough for us to be well-guided with the best places to go in Takayama and Shirakawa-go. This tour provided observation deck access, which allowed us to take pictures and buy souvenirs. The tour in Takayama is one of the best tours we had since we were able to roam freely. In Shirakawa-go, we were also able to roam freely.

Cici was a great guide, she was fluent in 3 languages, she gave us freedom to follow her around or to explore by ourselves. Felt a bit rushed in gujo hachiman, but the rest felt we had much much spare time to explore. Going with a tour like these is way cheaper than going by yourself.

Really impressive itinerary and plenty of time in every location. Weather was a bit rainy, but it made the atmosphere iven more special. Enjoyed it a lot! Guide Han is super nice and gave plenty of information about the places we are visiting but also about Nagoya.

Our tour guide, Liu Mei, and our Brazilian-Japanese driver took us on a day trip today to Hida Takayama, and then to Shirakawa-go. We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Liu and the driver because when we spontaneously asked to visit a museum in Hida, they showed the utmost consideration and helped us make it happen. This has truly been the most memorable experience of our trip to Japan so far. The guide was clear, and the driver drove very safely, making every effort to ensure everyone was comfortable throughout the journey. We also learned a lot, thank you! We highly recommend this day trip; my wife loved it too :))
