Short but great tour of a sake brewery. Our super friendly guide has explained everything about sake and the reference of Takayama to it great and understandable.

Great way to learn about how sake is made. Apparently tours like this are not common in sake breweries, that’s why a tour company is putting it together. The tour company charges ¥4000 if you book directly with them in the middle of town. There was a mark up on the Klook price, and that was unfortunate.
The experience was special. It was a rare opportunity to enter a sake brewery. The guide, Mr. Shirakawa, was especially kind and his explanations were easy to understand. I think it was fun! Thank you♪

We loved touring the sake brewery and it was great to learn about the process they've used for a very long time and see the facilities that are used to make it. We were able to taste and compare several samples and we enjoyed it so much we bought a bottle from the brewery afterwards!
