Shirakawa-go, Takayama and Gujo Hachiman Day Tour from Nagoya

10/10 best travel experience of my life so far!! Tour was very full of amazing locations and our guide, Max, was very friendly and kind, giving knowledgeable explanations along the way and taking us on a fun course through each main location. The schedule was efficient and there was a good balance between group time together and some solo time to explore and meander about on our own. The schedule was ery well organized and efficient, and thanks to our guide keeping us updated on departure and arrival times, we got to do the full itinerary. The assistant guide was equally lovely to meet and talk with, and the driver was very safe on the roads. Lists of places to see and visit for each location we visited were provided, facilitating our movements whether with the group or ourselves. Both English and Korean were provided on my trip. Time flew by too fast, I wish I could go on tour again!! I hope to book another soon! ^^ Don't miss the chance and take this tour!!

3 places in one day? Yes! I'm so impressed that the plan was executed very well. It's all thanks to our guide, Ritsuki. He is kind and knowledgeable. He gave us a lots of tips and recommendation about the tour itself and even gave us information about what to do and eat in Nagoya. He organized the trip very well. He is the reason of 10/10 trip.

This will be the highlight of my trip. The guide, Ritsuki, is the best! I was impressed by the service he really did a great job in this trip by taking a good care of us then accomodating the tour so cheerful yet passionately whole day during this insane summer’s heat. I was a solo traveler and he even offer to take some photos of me in some spot, and the result is sooo good. I just knew this trip will highlight my first visit to Nagoya. This trip is worth every penny.

It’s our first international trip and we don’t regret availing this tour package as we really enjoyed the places we’ve been to. Maxwell is very patient as he needs to speak two languages (korean english). He’s very accommodating and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the history of each places. The travel was very smooth and safe. We really appreciate his effort for dropping us by a shoe shop after the tour. Will definetly look for him again when we come back to explore more places in Japan.

Traveling to Nagoya with my family, there was one day where we didn't have any specific tourist spots in mind. Surprisingly, the night before, I was able to book a one-day tour on Klook that departed at 8 AM the next morning, even though it was already 7 PM! It was absolutely fantastic! We visited three attractions in one day, and although lunch wasn't included, I felt it was excellent value for money. I'm also grateful the weather was beautiful. Shirakawa-go is definitely worth visiting; even without snow, the lush green scenery in summer was stunning! Takayama also had its charm; we enjoyed Hida beef ramen, explored shops, and had coffee – very chill! Gujo Hachiman's streets and water bridges were quaint, but it would have been better if this part of the itinerary could have been shortened to allow more time at the previous attractions. The tour guide was average; they didn't seem to pay much attention to the group's needs and spoke Korean most of the time. Overall, it was a great trip, and I highly recommend it!

Max did a great job in making sure I’m comfortable throughout the trip. It became a private tour since I’m the only one who booked for that day. I really enjoyed everything and I appreciate all the efforts that Max did. He said it seemed like we went on a date and I sure missed going out on dates haha but overall it was truly a beautiful day. I’m not much of a talker in person but Max did a lot of explaining and storytelling. He has an American accent so I understood him so well. I also like how he aimed on making the trip more personal and not just transactional. Max will tailor it based on your preference and he will be more interested in getting to know you on a personal level. Thank you for still pushing through with the tour even if it’s just me. Will definitely recommend this tour to everyone. Glad to have gained a new friend in Japan 😊

This is one memorable day tour for our family! Aside from us being lucky to have the van for ourselves as if having a private tour, the whole experience was way beyond expectations! Max was the BEST guide you can have - very friendly, informative, and excellent communicator! Will definitely recommend and rebook given the chance in the future! Thanks Max!

Decided to book this tour last sunday even it was listed as a “new activity” with only minimal review because it’s the only tour that offers to go to 3 places - Shirakawa, Takayama and Gujo Hachiman. We were surprised that there’s only 3 of us in the van and thankful that our tour was not cancelled (so it looked liked we booked a private tour)! Kuddos to our very accommodating , fluent speaker and fun tour guide , Maxwell (Max) for making family trip a memorable one!!! Will definitely recommend this to my friends who plans to visit Nagoya❤️ It was a fun and memorable day indeed!

This was the best of all; the guide explained many interesting things, accompanied us throughout the entire trip, and the number of places to visit was ideal.
