Reviews
We had a great experience on the Shirakawa-go, Kenrokuen, and Higashi-Chaya tour. The pace was a bit rushed, but it was exactly what we needed to see all the highlights in just one day. We also really appreciated that the tour started and ended exactly on time. Huge thanks to our guide Cesar for a very thorough tour, clear instructions, and helpful sightseeing tips. He did a great job keeping everyone on schedule. Shout-out as well to Ikeda-san, our bus driver, for driving safely despite the heavy snow and for kindly lending us his umbrella. The tour operator was also very responsive to our questions on WhatsApp, which made everything smoother. Overall, a well-organized tour and a great option if you want to cover a lot in one day.
The tour was great! shirakawago is worth the trip, especially during winter. Our only issue was timing could have been planned better. When we got to Shirakawago, the shuttle bus was already on its last morning run. the guide was not aware that the free shuttle to the observatory did not run from 12 noon until 1:20pm. overall, it was still a great tour. our guide, Cesar and driver, Ikeda were very nice and helpful.
We started and ended on time. Our tour guide, Ceasar, was helpful and knowledgeable about the tour. Special thanks to our bus driver, Yamafuji, who brought us back safely to Kanazawa.
Miss Lily was very accommodating. She was kind enough to wait for us to arrive because our train travel stopped due to an unforeseen incident. She is very informative, knowledgeable and entertaining.
one of the best tour luckily had an option to travel from Osaka, was very hectic but worth it. the tour guide Cesar shared very good information about the place and history. Also helped me with Trains from Kanazawa to Osaka
it’s self-guided and we went during winter so the park wasn’t all that great but the tour guide made the most out of the situation—overall worth the money but pick the right season
very well organized tour. we had a tight schedule in Kanazawa and Alejandro and Mahada san were amazing as they took us around in a comfortable bus and gave us plenty of information and recommendations and communicated everything before, during and after the tour perfectly via the app.
Booked a half day tour and the Shirakawago tour was great. Cesar is out guide and he is very informative all through out the tour which is a plus for my family. His english is clear and we love how he explains the history about shirakawago. The tour is also family friendly. I have a 4 yr old kid with stroller.
This day trip was very well organized and made it easy to visit Shirakawago without worrying about transportation. Shirakawago itself was stunning, especially the traditional gassho-zukuri houses, which felt like stepping into a postcard. The schedule was smooth and gave enough time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the scenery at a relaxed pace.
Shirakawa-go is an exceptional destination; however, in March, the snow coverage was minimal. Our tour guide, Angeles, provided an outstanding explanation of the location..
