Review for: Eihoji, Korankei Gorge, & Shikizakura Maple Leaves Viewing 1-Day Tour

The Maple Leaves Eihoji, Korankei Gorge, and Shikizakura tour from Nagoya was absolutely stunning! Our tour guide was fantastic—fluent in English, Chinese, and Japanese, making the experience seamless and enjoyable for everyone. Each destination showcased the breathtaking beauty of autumn, with vibrant hues of red, orange, and yellow creating unforgettable scenery. Korankei Gorge was particularly mesmerizing with its fiery maple leaves, while the rare Shikizakura (cherry blossoms blooming alongside autumn colors) added a magical touch. The entire tour left me in awe of nature’s brilliance—a must-do for autumn lovers! I’m glad that i have booked this tour😊

This tour was worth it! The amount of time given per stop was just right. Our guide, Kaku, was very friendly, fun and helpful. During our visit, we skipped the lunch at the oulet though, so take note that lunch plans might change. But overall, this was a very good trip.

Review for: Eihoji, Korankei Gorge, & Shikizakura Maple Leaves Viewing 1-Day Tour

Taking the "Kokei-ji Temple, Korankei Gorge, Four Seasons Cherry Blossom Maple Leaf Viewing Day Trip" is really worth it! Kokei-ji Temple is very Zen and comfortable to walk around; the autumn leaves in Korankei Gorge are stunningly beautiful, every photo looks like a postcard; the most surprising thing is the four seasons cherry blossoms, the combination of pink cherry blossoms and autumn leaves is really dreamy. The tour guide is very friendly, the itinerary is not rushed, and you can relax and have fun. If you want to see the beautiful scenery limited to autumn, this tour is highly recommended!

Review for: Eihoji, Korankei Gorge, & Shikizakura Maple Leaves Viewing 1-Day Tour

The activity design is very good. During the red leaf season, the three locations are good places to enjoy maple leaves. The itinerary is well arranged. Yongbao Temple is not a big place, but it is a tourist spot with all the elements: temple, pond, maple leaves, Ginkgo, the photos taken are beautiful. The Four Seasons Cherry Blossoms are slightly inferior, and the half-hour arrangement is reasonable. Xianglan River is the highlight of the itinerary, needless to say. The tour guide will only tell you the pick-up and drop-off times. She lacks enthusiasm and experience and is the weakest link in the itinerary. However, the only reason for participating in these one-day tours is to have transportation, so it is not a big problem. The most disgusting thing was that I met four unethical tourists who kept talking in the car. Sitting in front of them, I felt like someone was talking in my ear the whole time, which was extremely disturbing.

Review for: Eihoji, Korankei Gorge, & Shikizakura Maple Leaves Viewing 1-Day Tour

There are three scenic spots in total, and the length of stay at each scenic spot is very moderate. It would be better if the tour guide could give more introductions to each scenic spot. She introduced very little and just played canned recordings. At Xianglan Creek, I know You will be free to visit this station and have lunch at your own expense. However, it was not explained in advance that most of them are also snack stalls and there are not many restaurants. It is recommended to give more introductions before arriving. It is also recommended to walk from the drop-off point to various places in Xianglan River. How long does it take to walk to the scenic spots, so that group members can be prepared, especially the elderly. If they cannot walk too many steps, they can choose their own suitable route and which scenic spot to reach. Overall, if the purpose of joining this tour is purely for transportation to various attractions, this is a good choice.

Review for: Eihoji, Korankei Gorge, & Shikizakura Maple Leaves Viewing 1-Day Tour

The guide's arrival time was later than the scheduled itinerary. Causing the trip to be delayed in sequence. But all items were complete. Every place is very impressive. The time of return is not clear. 6:00 p.m. is the time of departure from Korankei. Arrival time at Nagoya station depends on traffic conditions.

Review for: Eihoji, Korankei Gorge, & Shikizakura Maple Leaves Viewing 1-Day Tour

The driver and tour guide are very good. I will remind you of many things. I saw someone leaving a message saying that there are not many shops in the first two spots, so we brought the triangular rice balls from the first floor of Nagoya Station and made ourselves green tea. It was just right with the scenery on this cold day.
