Service: During this stay, I noticed a shortage of staff, but everyone was very friendly. The only minor drawback was that the cold water for the hot springs was 15 degrees Celsius, and the staff couldn't adjust it immediately.

by far the highest CP value hotel ive stayed in taichung. while location isnt exactly easy to get to if u plan to do intercity day trips, it is FANTASTIC if you want to visit feng jia night market (a mere 5 minute away!!!). that said chances are u will stay in and have a blast rather than go out tbh. way too many stuff to do here

My stay at Floating Cloud Hotel in Taichung was very satisfying overall, perfectly meeting the requirements of convenience, cleanliness, and comfort. It's just a few minutes' walk to Feng Chia Night Market, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Yet, it's perfectly situated to be quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, so you're not disturbed by the night market's noise. Additionally, the hotel emphasizes smart technology, with automated check-in and robot delivery services for amenities/luggage, which are both novel and efficient. Spotless Cleanliness: From the lobby to the interior of the rooms, everything was kept exceptionally neat and clean. The bed sheets and duvet covers were pristine and comfortable, and the bathroom was sparkling clean, looking like new. There were no strange odors or dampness, which is very reassuring for travelers who prioritize hygiene. Relaxing Comfort: The room design was simple, modern, and well-lit. The only drawback was the low water pressure in the shower.

The location is excellent, and since I visited the day before my birthday, the front desk staff thoughtfully and kindly gave me a birthday gift. As for the room experience, it was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The cleaning staff and front desk personnel were also very friendly, and the price was very reasonable. The parking lot is also large enough, making it very convenient for guests traveling by car. It will be my top choice for accommodation next time I visit Taichung. This hotel is fancy and very aesthetic for the price. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. The location is really nice, being close to THSR Taichung station & train stations. There's a McDonald's and 7eleven near beside the hotel, very convenient 🥰🥰🥰

Very spacious and comfortable. No issues opening up 3 big luggage. Walking distance to Fengchia Night Market. They have vegetarian options if you have opt-in breakfast.

I'm very particular about accommodations, and this place was incredibly satisfying. First, the location was excellent; I could walk to the Yizhong Street Night Market, and there were two convenience stores, a 7-Eleven and a FamilyMart, right in front, which was very convenient. Most other tourist attractions, except for Fengjia Night Market, were within 2km, so I could easily walk or take an Uber. The room's cleanliness and condition were excellent, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept soundly. Just in case, I brought a shower filter from Daiso, but there was no discoloration or foreign matter for two days. The water was genuinely clean and good, which I was very happy about. Also, the toilet and shower booth were perfectly separated, which was a big plus. The soundproofing seemed good too; it was quiet throughout my stay. There was a hot water dispenser, so I could easily buy cup noodles from the convenience store and eat them comfortably. The breakfast was also clean and pleasantly delicious. It was great to start the morning fresh with a salad. And the best part was the staff member who spoke Korean incredibly well, making it easy to ask questions about various things. The tall male staff member also kindly called a taxi to the airport for me and helped load all my luggage, which was wonderful. The hotel's interior was unique and luxurious, and I was delighted to stay here for such a reasonable price. If I visit Taichung again, I will definitely book this place without hesitation!

Fourth time staying here... Even though I've gone back and forth in between, the location is convenient, and it's clean and well-soundproofed... This time returning to Taiwan saved us a lot on accommodation fees while traveling! It will still be my first choice for accommodation next time ^^

This time, we booked a deluxe double room. Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Since it was a weekday, they surprised us with an upgrade to the Presidential Suite during check-in! We were so lucky to experience this type of room for the first time; it was unexpectedly spacious and we were absolutely thrilled. The room even had a hidden mission with small rewards, which was really fun! 😁 There's also a complimentary shuttle service that requires advance booking.
