Yamanashi Prefecture

For someone that comes from Singapore and has never seen snow or Ski before, this was the best experience I have ever had yet so far! Fujiyama ski resort is about 2hours away from Shinjuku and even though it’s a small ski world, you will appreciate it if you come from a hot country like myself! Everything about the services were amazing, the coaches are very detailed when conducting the training and would ensure that we at least know how to ski and stop before letting us roam around ourselves. The weather up at Fujiyama is also perfect, not super cold for anyone wondering, but cool enough to have a blast experience! Lastly, the timing given for us felt plenty, after training and lunch, we still have about 2.5hours left to ourselves, more than enough to take some photos and enjoy the scenery. If you are in Tokyo and would like to step out of the city for a day, this is the perfect day plan for you! :D

I think Fuji Q is very much worth visiting. You don't have to be in long lines and wait time is shorter compared to being in more famous parks. You will get to have a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji and there are a lot of varieties of rides and attractions there to explore. Commute to the park is convenient and easy.

I wanted to see Mount Fuji so much that I took a day out of my Tokyo trip to apply for a tour. I was excited but worried about what if the weather was bad? Fortunately, the weather was great, and thanks to our tour guide, Kang Gil-man, we were able to have a comfortable and safe trip. He coordinated the schedule well so that we could tour the attractions without being too crowded, and he also took pictures and carefully guided us to the restrooms. It was a happy day.

This trip was on 2025/11/27, and it was raining that day, which was disappointing. The tour guide, Cui Chun Ai, was very good. She carefully introduced the attractions and smiled throughout the entire trip. She's a Chinese tour guide who has been in Japan for many years, but what's amazing is that she speaks Chinese, Japanese, and Korean very well, which is incredible. This trip stopped at 3 main locations and 2 photo spots (Lawson convenience store). The first stop was Fujisan Sengen Shrine + the shopping street with the clock shop for about 2 hours, the second was Oshino Hakkai for about 1.5 hours, and the third was Lake Kawaguchi for about 40 minutes. Basically, it's just taking pictures, you can't stay too long, but it's still acceptable. It was sunny at 10:00 AM, but by 11:00 AM it was cloudy, and then it rained, so I couldn't take many pictures. I can only hope for sunny weather next time. However, I still think this trip is great, not too expensive, and you don't have to worry about transportation, so it's recommended for lazy people.

Brewski was an amazing tour guide, he gave us history, was so helpful during the tour. we were so lucky to see Mount Fuji on a clear day as the chances are only 30 percent. The other stops after the tour were also amazing, the old village was beautiful and the lake where we had the most delicious ice cream. The place where we stopped for food was delicious. You do have to pay for lunch but the portions were huge and they had meat and veggie options. There was a lot of stops of toilet breaks which was great. Definitely need to take warm clothes as the average temperature is a lot cooler compared to Tokyo. You really get to see the whole area on this tour and was so reasonably priced, would do it again!

It was a perfect excursion, the views were stunning, the walk was super peaceful and pleasant, we enjoyed it very much. Our guide was Andy and he was always super attentive, with curious facts along the way, we loved it, highly recommended.

It’s a nice rope trip. Just a pity the day we went up, Mount Fuji was shy and couldn’t be seen. Still, it was an interesting ride and it pays to buy from Klook cos we could skip the queue to collect the tickets. Queue to go up nonetheless was long but did not take too long to clear.

This is the BEST tour for exploring Mt. Fuji area. We went to a lot of photo spots with the perfect view of Mt. Fuji. Our guide Victor was very helpful and even took us for lunch at a good spot. It was hassle free. The best spot is the maple corridor with lake kawaguchiko next to it. perfect for a day when the mountain is visible.

It was an amazing experience to join this one day tour with Leonard as the tour guide. He was such a funny & patient tour guide that leave such a memorable experience. I will always recommend this tour because it was more comfortable than we go by our own. The Unagi Set was really tasteful, you should try it.
