Hotels in Taichung

Although the hotel is located in the outskirts of Wuri, the price is really worth it! On a Friday mini-holiday, the average cost is only around $1000 NTD per person, including a free Onsen(hot spring), mini-bar during certain hours, gym, game room, and a buffet breakfast the next day. The hotel staff is friendly, and the environment is very clean! Whether you drive or take public transportation (get off at TRA Chenggong Station, where you can also buy commemorative tickets), it is worth a special trip to experience (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎) However, if I had to nitpick, it would be that the gender-separated public nude Onsen SPA facilities are not perfect! The men's side has SPA water jets, while the women's side does not? I don't really understand why it was designed this way, isn't gender equality advocated these days ╮(￣▽￣"")╭

We stayed in a standard triple room (city view, with windows) and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and the TV was huge. There was a snack and drink bar available on the first floor when we checked in, which was great. Although breakfast wasn't included in our booking, there was a simple toast, bread roll, and coffee/chocolate drink available in the B1 level from 8am-11am. When we checked in, we confirmed that a sedan could park in the basement, so we added parking for $200. If you have an SUV, you'll need to find parking elsewhere. We'll book here again next time we're in Taichung.

For those looking for a budget hotel, this is it! Definitely worth your money — and it even comes with a buffet breakfast.

The value for money is very high, and the hotel is modern and technologically advanced. I keep coming back, and it's not just the environment that attracts me. Most importantly, the hotel staff makes me feel warm. It's my first choice for accommodation in the central district. For someone who values breakfast a lot, I would rather forgo breakfast and stay at this hotel. I would rather just order delivery than stay anywhere else. I've stayed here dozens of times, and this is the first time I'm giving you this kind of feedback. Even when I booked the wrong room type and couldn't change it, you still tried to help me change it and helped me communicate with the booking platform. I felt very valued. The location is convenient and there is parking available. The front desk staff has a very good attitude and the rooms are very clean. The only drawback is that there are fewer outlets in the room, and the hair dryer is the wall-mounted, push-button type. Otherwise, everything is very good. If I have the opportunity to go to Taichung again, I will choose this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location. I'd you take the THSR, you can take the Bus 6670 from Taichung THSR station and drop off at a bus stop very neat to Palmer Hotel. It has clean and cozy room for us. Its elevator tool us to the 6th floor and walked on a carpeted hallway. Towels and bathroom amenities are sufficient and of good quality. It has hair dryer too. It also offers yummy breakfast that's included iny booking.

It's rare to find hotels with capsule coffee machines. This was my second stay, and it was still great in terms of service and cleanliness. The only minor drawback was that the upgraded room this time was a bit small, which was a little disappointing.

We stayed in a room for 4 people on August 24th. During this stay, there happened to be a sports team staying at the Floating Cloud Hotel. The children were noisy, running around in the hallway and a bit loud, but it didn't affect our mood. This time we stayed in a room with breakfast, and the breakfast was excellent, clean, and most importantly, on the 15th floor with a beautiful view and a great perspective.

Arrived on Sunday, but the weather wasn't great. There was thunder, lightning, and rain, so I didn't even get to use the pool and ended up in the sauna. Unfortunately, the pool was closed again on Monday. Such a pity! I hope the pool's opening dates can be more flexible. Breakfast was good though, and the ingredients they provided were excellent.
