Participating in Klook's 'Penghu Island Hopping: Golden Twin Islands - Hujing Islet (Cat Island) & Tongpan' was truly a fantastic and unforgettable experience! My spirits lifted the moment I boarded the boat. The crew was friendly and professional, and they even had assistance ready for those prone to seasickness, which made everyone feel at ease. Hujing Islet (Cat Island) is simply paradise! There are so many adorable cats on the island; they're friendly and not shy at all. They came right up to us, and we took so many photos our hands were tired! The ocean water was so beautiful it looked like a filter – the clear blue-green bay paired with white sand made for postcard-perfect scenery! Strolling around the island, feeding cats, and gazing at the sea, time flew by. It was completely relaxing and therapeutic. Tongpan offered a different kind of charm. The magnificent basalt columns were incredibly impressive, like works of art carved by nature. The guide's explanations were very detailed, helping us better understand Penghu's geological features. The island-hopping boat schedule was smooth, and they even provided drinks and simple snacks along the way. The service was truly thoughtful. The overall itinerary was comfortable and unhurried, perfect for couples, families, or friends. Sunshine, turquoise seas, cats, and volcanic landscapes – all in one trip! I highly recommend this tour to anyone planning to go island hopping in Penghu; it will definitely be one of the best memories of your trip. The lobster instant noodles contained a good amount of lobster, but some pieces might have been frozen for too long, as the meat lacked sweetness, which was a bit disappointing. However, what's truly commendable is that throughout our visit, both the sweet potato and other staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Everything was very pleasant. Although we originally booked for 7:40 PM, they called us in advance to ask if we wanted to move the time up because there weren't enough people. We agreed, and actually, watching the sunset at 6:30 PM was perfect. We also enjoyed a relaxing evening of squid fishing. The crew members were all very polite and always smiling. My children were more interested in the video games, but at least it offered another option. The boat was really new, beautiful, and very clean. The squid noodles had just the right amount of salt and were delicious, and there were also jelly and brown sugar cakes. All the passengers were quite well-behaved and not noisy, creating a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which we were very lucky to experience. Also, each fishing rod was prepared for us, and they looked very neat, which was nice. Even though no one on the boat caught any squid, the sea breeze was very pleasant, and it wasn't too hot. With the gentle sunset, I think this experience was truly wonderful.

Taking the bus is comfortable; you don't have to worry about sun or rain. We also had a professional tour guide who provided explanations and enthusiastically helped us find good angles for photos. When we arrived in Wang'an, they arranged a meal for us. It would be even better if we could have a bit more time at each attraction.

The experience was great! We saw lots of corals, and it was really nice that the shop owner gave us a brief introduction to the ecology of Penghu. We were also happy to learn about the conservation efforts that the local government and residents have been making. Hope more corals will thrive and survive!

Experience: The sunrise is incredibly moving, watching the sun emerge from the horizon. Because sunrise tours require an early start, there are usually fewer people, and the instructors often take the opportunity to capture many beautiful photos. Safety: The waters around Suogang are actually quite safe. Under the guidance of an instructor and with the protection of a life vest, it's quite easy to get back on the board if you accidentally fall into the water (the instructor will also help you get back on).

We were very fortunate that this was a small group. The tour quality was fantastic, with no overcrowding or trouble hearing the guide. It was well worth it, and both the elderly and the children loved it. The tide time also happened to be after 2:00 PM, making it pleasantly warm and just right.

Fish Trapping with Stone Piles Stone piling is another traditional fishing method in Penghu, besides stone weirs. It involves building stone piles (piers) in the intertidal zone during low tide. After fish use these piles as habitats, a net is used to catch them when the stone piles are dismantled. My younger daughter and I participated in this activity last year. She couldn't stop talking about it afterward and kept saying she wanted to bring her mom and sister to experience it. So, we took the opportunity during this trip to Penghu to do it again.
