The hotel is well maintained and our expectation is always met ever time we are back to stay there. The amenities are well provided. The location is convenient for MRT, bus, train and HSR transfer. The atmosphere and surrounding is something we love about it here, very serene and peaceful despite the fact that is located near super tollway and in software business district. Lalaport is few minutes walk.

This hotel is located in Ximending so better to stay here if you want to shop and explore. A lot of 7-11 stores around the area. Also, near MRT station. Also, the hotel is clean and most of the cleaners are Filipinos.

Hotel Papa Whale is fantastic! Great location near Ximending and the MRT, making it super convenient to get around. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. The staff are friendly and attentive, always making sure anything used in the room is promptly refilled or replaced. Love that they provide free coffee sticks and water every day, small touches like that make a big difference. Definitely a comfortable and convenient stay!

perfect hotel to stay especially for the first timer and travelling solo. near ximending night market and mrt station just less than 5min walk. the staff are very nice, they have unlimited snacks in their pantry. checking in and checking out process was very smooth. the room was perfect for me as solo traveler. i booked standard room and it was spacious. the bed was clean, all the corners of the room was so clean. especially the bathroom. i like the window i have a view of the city. perfect hotel to stay.

I really had a great time in Grand hi lai Taipei. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is delicious and many choices to choose from. great experience!

Although i hear flushing toilet from the other room but its fine with me. The inn has clean and Comfy bed, enough space, spacious comfort room, comfy place and most of all MRT Exit 2 is just in front and ximending is just a few steps away, what a great location! we had a great stay!

Although Google Maps indicates a 13-minute walk from MRT Jiantan Station to the hotel, it's easy to find. Plus, there are YouBike rental stations along the way, making it convenient to cycle between the hotel and the MRT station after checking in. The rooms offer open views, are comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms feature a separate shower and tub. The hotel also has a public bath (for women only), perfect for a relaxing soak in the evening.

affordable, cheapest hotel so far yet very nice and clean. we got a room with windows and very spacious. this hotel is just near or walking distance to ximending night market
