Opened in 2023, Taipei Jiantan Pulu Hotel is conveniently located near Jiantan MRT Station, meaning it's not far from Shilin Night Market. It offers underground parking for compact cars (with a height limit of 1.9 meters), and the rooms are brand new. Plus, there's a women's large public bath, and with its affordable prices, it's definitely an excellent choice in Taipei City!

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes from the Brown Line metro. The neighborhood is very clean and beautiful. The service is impeccable and very attentive. The hostesses were lovely. I will come back with my family :)

I'm very satisfied with the location. It's close to the station, there's a FamilyMart next door, a Starbucks, and lots of food options in the basement. The service was also great; staff opened the door for me when entering and exiting, which was very helpful when I had heavy luggage. Although the building is old, I have no complaints. I was happy to find a water server where I could get hot and cold water anytime. The room was spacious, and I'm glad I chose this hotel. Thank you!

I had a great stay at Hotel Papa Whale. The building design was really unique and different, but I actually liked its style and overall vibe. My room was spacious enough and had all the basic things I needed for a comfortable stay. Just a small reminder: bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush, or buy some nearby if you didn’t pack any. The location was also very convenient — around a 6-minute walk to the Ximen area, which made it easy to explore, shop, and eat. There are also multiple 7-Eleven stores nearby, so it was very easy to grab snacks, drinks, or anything else I needed. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I’d recommend it especially if you want to be near Ximending.

ist meine bevorzugte Wahl, wenn ich in Taipeh übernachte. Die Lage ist wirklich ausgezeichnet, mit vielen Essensmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung und in einem so historischen Viertel. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel befinden sich direkt im Erdgeschoss desselben Gebäudes wie der Nahverkehrszug (Wanhua Stn) oder 5 Gehminuten zur Bananenlinie (blau) nach Ximending. Das Hotelzimmer ist geräumig und es gibt einen Swimmingpool und ein Fitnessstudio.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Midtown Richardson während meines dritten Besuchs in Taiwan war super. Ich kam um 4 Uhr morgens an und sie haben eine 24/7-Rezeption. Das Zimmer war super geräumig, das WLAN ist stark, tägliche Reinigung (die Putzfrau war sehr fröhlich), das Frühstücksbuffet ist großartig. Ein Zuhause fernab der Heimat. Die Lage ist schön, sehr nah am Ximending-Einkaufsviertel. 7-Eleven und FamilyMart sind ebenfalls sehr nah, es gibt einen Park davor, wo man früh morgens spazieren gehen kann, Klook-Touren treffen sich auch sehr nah am Hotel. Sie haben einen Waschbereich (6. Stock), den ich aber nicht ausprobiert habe. Ich wohnte im 15. Stock, ein behindertengerechtes Zimmer. Da das Wetter wechselhaft war (super heiß, dann regnerisch), habe ich die meiste Zeit einfach im Hotel geschlafen und bin geblieben, habe chinesische Serien geschaut und Lebensmittel eingelagert, da es einen Kühlschrank und auch einen Wasserkocher gab. Auch sehr nah zum Einkaufen, im NET-Shop. Nochmals, sehr empfehlenswert und ja, ich werde wieder buchen, wenn ich wieder nach Taiwan komme. Danke an Klook, denn es gab eine Aktion, als ich das letzte Mal gebucht habe.

The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to Huashan for a stroll, or visit Syntrend and Guanghua. With Godzilla as the hotel's theme, it feels very Japanese, and the room also makes you feel like you've arrived in Japan, especially the bathroom. The small white stool and basin give it a very authentic Japanese feel! The bathtub is deep and comfortable, the hot water heats up quickly, and the water pressure is strong. The room was clean and larger than I expected, especially the impressively spacious entryway. I would definitely return if I have the chance.

Room was spacious, clean and cozy! Perfect for guests who enjoy some peace and quiet, away from the city. There's several hiking trails, parks nearby as well. Definitely a place I'll stay again!

Amazing stay! Super convenient as one of the Ximen train exits was just outside the Hotel. This train station exit was stairs only thou. Just diagonally accross the street from the Ximen shopping district, and a convenient store downstairs. We got a corner room on the 13th floor (1316) and did not encounter the sound issues that others complained off. Bed was comfy as well, we enjoyed 5 quiet nights of sleep. Room was generally clean, except some crumbs on the carpet. Staff were really nice, friendly, and accomodating. We asked for an extra luggage rack and they delivered as well. As stated in their website, only hand bar soap, body soap and shampoo provided. They also provided water and clean towels. We came prepared with our own toiletries. Only thing was that the security safe in the room was not drilled in, it can be easily carried away.. so we didnt use it..
