Hotel was located about 5 mins walk from xinbeitou station so it was very convenient. Carrefour market was just next door and there are many food options. In-room hot spring was good and we got a room upgrade.

location of hotel is great! just a short walk away from the mrt station and also within walking distance to the tourist sights around the area like the hot spring museum, thermal valley. as the hotel has been around for quite some time, interior of the room may appear relatively dated. however it is still clean and comfortable.

We stayed one night there and didn't go out much as my mom was tire, so cannot comment abt location. This is a very nice, cozy, slightly dated but still considered well maintain kind of local hotel , hot spring is their main feature. Staff are generally friendly n approachable. The room was spacious, they served some snacks and jello in the room. We encountered an incident when we were there, the room fridge was not working and leaking water out, we saw it on the floor and informed front desk immediately. After some back n fro communication, n checking, they eventually replace the fridge in the room. The staffs involved were helpful and polite the whole time, and was apologetic to us of the inconvenient caused by the leaking fridge, we didnt ask to change room since it was only for a night. The restaurant's buffet breakfast has sufficient variety and good service from a lot of local friendly aunties, and they run the morning breakfast crowd very efficiently.

The hotel is great, easy to access from the mrt train station and boasts a hotspring bath in every hotel room! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and a special shoutout to the hotel massage therapist (I think her name is Shirlene) for relaxing my tensed shoulder muscles!

booked a japanese style quad room. // Pros were: private onsen in each room, breakfast included, close to new beitou mrt station, japanese toilet bowl, futon was soft....... // Cons: basic amenities (shampoo and body soap, body lotion), room was not well maintained... ceiling has marks, bathroom walls near the sink was peeling, there's some dust at the corners of the floor.

It was a pleasant stay, glad we chose to stay at this resort with private and public hotspring experience. The room was clean & quite spacious. They dont provide disposable toothbrush and toothpaste so do bring your own. They do provide shower gel, shampoo and lotion though. The resort breakfast is simple & quite unqiue as they have serve a plant(i think its succulent) for salad. The hotel staff are generally very friendly & helpful, especially Brian who stepped in to guide us when we were unsure of how to travel to the national park and other places. He really elevated our experience in staying at the resort. We will definetely choose this resort again if we visit Beitou in the future.
