Hotels near Kokedera Temple (Saihōji)

This is a review of a stay with 3 adults and 1 baby (15 months old)! Because we had a baby, we took a taxi from Kyoto Station, but it seems like it's about a 20-minute ride by public transportation, so I wouldn't mind coming back next time. However, there's not much to do around the accommodation, so if you stay here, you'll have to spend your time entirely at the accommodation. But even just staying at the accommodation, it feels like you can get your money's worth! There are vending machines, ice cream, and soba available inside the hotel, so we spent two days praising the accommodation! The breakfast was perfect for Korean tastes and there was a wide variety, which was so great! (+The staff were also super friendly)

Only one key per room, and having to exchange it at the front desk every time was inconvenient. The staff also seemed impatient.

A very satisfying stay! We booked a family room and the whole family was very happy. The room was spacious and comfortable, there was a large public bath to relieve daily fatigue, and there was a 7-Eleven next to the hotel for shopping. It was also a few minutes' walk to the Kyoto Aquarium, making it easy to spend a whole day there. It's only one stop from Kyoto Station, and the hotel also offers cheap bus transfers. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel!

We were just spent a night, got a problem with cold water but staff readily helped us, and for that we were very grateful. Great view of the city and snowy mountain from window, walkable to Arashiyama area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The surroundings are quiet, and it's nice to have places to eat nearby. The atmosphere is lovely, so I plan to bring my parents back again!

The hotel is near the JR station, the large public bath is comfortable and has a spa, and there are many restaurants to choose from in the same shopping mall. Will use again.

This hot spring hotel is very good. Staying overnight with two meals is very good. We stayed for three days and two nights and booked four rooms. The breakfast was very plentiful, and the dinner was very exquisite 👯👯. After soaking in the hot spring, free ramen is provided, but it's only available until 11:00 PM, which isn't long enough. Also, there are a lot of people lining up. This could be improved. Overall, we are very satisfied 💯.
