Hotels near Kokedera Temple (Saihōji)

This is one of the best things of my stay in Japan. Such great place and near the station. Will book again when in Kyoto

This place was a highlight of our trip. We loved all of the onsen options- tried all 5 private and both male and female public. so peaceful. The staff was great and the hotel was beautiful. Lovely stay! Thank you so much.

fantastic property! super close to all the location. amazing facilities and the staff was very very helpful with all our requests.

My husband and I and our 10 month old baby just spent a few days here and it was a fabulous experience. The staff were so kind, rooms were a great size for us (we needed space for a pack n play and there was plenty!), and the amenities were lovely. The 24/7 private onsens were amazing especially with the free ice cream afterwards. We loved getting the complimentary late night ramen as well. There was even an area where you could select your pillow preference type. It is a bit far from some of the main tourist attractions but it’s next to a train station so it’s easy to get there. The town it’s in is really lovely as well. Very peaceful and beautiful. Plus the monkey spot and bamboo forest are not too far! The full experience was fabulous, we’d definitely stay here again and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Would love to stay here again! They offered many amenities and they cleaned our rooms and provided new towels every morning. The place was spacious for 4 people, we had 4 beds. It was also very clean and close to the bus station. Convenient!!

Convenient transportation: The location is right in front of Hankyu Arashiyama Station, just a 1-minute walk away. It's also very close to Togetsukyo Bridge and the Bamboo Grove. The hotel facilities and environment are excellent, especially the private hot spring baths with different styles – they're fantastic! I'll invite friends and family to come next time!

very nice, clean, close to the station, only bad thing is lagguage transfer facilities, please do check with them in advance with address whete you want tranfer , as they have limitations in certain part or apartments in tokyo area.

Conveniently located next to JR train station and 7-eleven. You will never get hungry at night after a long day walking as there's restaurants in the building. If we stayed longer, I would try their bath house. We booked for 3 people and we have plenty of space and sitting area. We stayed in Asakusa and Osaka and this is the biggest room we have. They offer brrakfast and you can enjoy different food options that's not in a typical breakfast buffet. Majority of the tourist spot is within 10-25mins away by taxi which is cheap. We would stay here again if we go back to Kyoto.
