A Personal Taste of Sapporo
I joined this food tour alone, and it turned out to be such a rewarding experience. Tieki, my guide, was warm, attentive, and full of local knowledge. He introduced me to authentic Sapporo dishes that I wouldn’t have discovered on my own, and his recommendations made the city’s food culture come alive.
Even though it was just me, Tieki made the tour engaging and tailored, so I felt like I had a true insider’s look at Sapporo. By the end, I not only enjoyed delicious food but also felt I understood the city much better.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sapporo — whether solo or with friends!

Such a lovely wagashi class. Beautiful craftsmanship and a very peaceful atmosphere. The host was warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout the session. Making wagashi by hand really makes you appreciate the artistry behind each piece. Highly recommend if you’re curious about Japanese culture and traditional sweets.

I like how friendly the workers treat us, very nice and always give us compliment. Even we don’t understand each other. We wear this Kimono and walk around city , mostly people says to us beautiful. I feel it is a way to experience Japanese culture by wearing a kimono. The costume made me walk more ladylike and the costume is really pretty. The kimono is made of silk and feel very smooth and comfortable when wearing it. With the backdrop at Otaru Canal, it sure will make a nice picture for you to keep and remember.
