I've been to Tsui Yuen at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin twice recently for dim sum. The dim sum is usually quite good, so I bought a coupon when I saw a Klook offer. I arrived around 10:30 AM on June 6th, and the staff were very nice. Even though I was early, they quickly seated me. However, the dim sum that day was very disappointing. The fried items weren't hot enough; they seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The skin was dry and soft, not crispy. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) and siu mai (pork dumplings) were even worse. They tasted like frozen, pre-made dim sum bought from a supermarket. The siu mai also had a very strong MSG flavor. I wondered if the dim sum for Klook customers was pre-made. I asked a server, who said the kitchen doesn't differentiate between Klook customers and regular diners. But it was very strange; the dim sum that day didn't taste like what I usually have there. Despite this, the restaurant staff were very polite.

It's convenient; you can book the day before you want to go. However, I recommend booking an earlier time slot because this time, when we booked for an 8 PM arrival, the meal wasn't as expected. Plus, as soon as 9 PM hit, the restaurant staff seemed very eager to leave.

We book early we able to get a window set, it was amazing view and comfortable..The food was great.It was fun experience eating lunch buffet with my friends here..The service is excellent. They are polite. It's rare to find such attentiveness these days, except in a very expensive restaurants.

This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

Recomano molt The Astor ✨ Vaig venir especialment al restaurant The Astor per gaudir del bufet lliure, i l'experiència general només es pot descriure amb quatre paraules: "molt satisfet". Tant la ubicació, el servei com la qualitat del menjar van superar completament les meves expectatives! Ubicació excel·lent i convenient 📍 El restaurant es troba a l'Eaton Hotel, una ubicació molt convenient. S'hi arriba fàcilment amb autobús o a poca distància a peu des de l'estació de metro. L'espai general del restaurant té un disseny molt característic, amb una sensació de pel·lícula retro i nostàlgica, combinada amb la comoditat moderna i elegant. Només entrar, ja et sents relaxat i content. Servei impecable del personal 💯 Vull destacar especialment l'actitud de servei de tot el personal de primera línia aquell dia! Des de la persona que et guia a la taula, els que recullen els plats fins als xefs de cada taulell de menjar, tots tenien un somriure a la cara i eren molt educats. La velocitat de recollida dels plats era molt ràpida i eficient, sense deixar mai plats buits apilats a la taula, i sempre estaven atents a les necessitats dels clients, fent-te sentir com a casa. Qualitat del menjar i marisc d'alt nivell 🦀 El que més em va sorprendre va ser la riquesa i la qualitat del menjar! El marisc era molt fresc, i la reposició d'ostres fredes, crancs de pa, etc., era extremadament ràpida; mai vaig veure un plat buit. La varietat de plats calents era diversa, ja fos vedella rostida, cuixa de xai rostida, plats cuinats amb sabor o postres delicades, el condiment era perfecte, i es notava la dedicació de l'equip de cuina. La secció de postres va ser el final perfecte, amb una gran varietat de gelats i pastissos petits exquisits, amb una qualitat que no té res a envejar a les pastisseries de luxe. En resum: El restaurant The Astor demostra un alt nivell tant en l'ambient, el servei com el menjar, amb una relació qualitat-preu excel·lent. Sens dubte, és una experiència gastronòmica que et fa voler tornar, i la recomano molt a tots els amics que busquen bona cuina i un servei de qualitat!

Compra'n un i emporta't un altre de regal. Per aquest preu, el dinar inclou una quantitat inesperada de menjar, la qual cosa explica que estigui ple de gom a gom. Sobretot les postres, molt elaborades i especials, amb milfulls de mango, creps de durià, púding de caramel amb mochi i pasta choux, gofres de taro, a més de diverses galetes suaus i molts sabors de gelat Mövenpick; fetes amb molta cura i boníssimes. Els mariscs, com les ostres, les gambes i les cloïsses, estan molt bé, i fins i tot hi havia llagosta i escamarlans. L'amanida està bé. Els plats calents i xinesos compleixen sense destacar, es podrien millorar. El sashimi japonès no es talla al moment, sinó que te'n deixen un plat preparat perquè l'agafis, i la qualitat és normal; el sushi i els fideus freds Tampoc no tenen res de particular. El servei és normal. En resum, la relació qualitat-preu d'aquest àpat és molt alta, i hi tornaria.

Exceptional service and amazing food! First, regarding the service, the staff are friendly, polite, and proactive in looking after our needs: the steak cutter remembered that I wanted mine sliced thin; the noodle chef voluntarily offered to make an extra bowl; and the floor staff frequently checked in on the needs of the elderly and children! The food is nothing short of flawless, made-to-order and served fresh, with both savory and sweet options: baked scallops, soft-shell crab, durian crepes, molten lava cake... and no need to wait in line or rush for anything. There are also premium delicacies: fish maw steak, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, grilled crab legs, Japanese fruit platter... Other than being an incredible value and absolutely delicious, I can't think of any other words to describe it!
