Ciutat Ho Chi Minh Classes de cuina

Quin dia tan bonic! Gràcies a l'Spencer per ser un guia tan fantàstic. M'ho vaig passar molt bé al mercat i a la classe de cuina. Tots els plats estaven boníssims, i l'amfitrió ens ho va preparar tot, incloent la neteja i la preparació dels ingredients. En general, m'ho vaig passar genial i tornaré aviat, haha.

It was a very good experience. The instructor was excellent at explaining the different dishes and how to cook them. I especially enjoyed the shaking beef; it was truly amazing. The menu was slightly different from the one posted online, so I assume the dessert changed. Everything else was the same. We cooked the pho, the shaking beef, and the spring rolls.

I've lived in Vietnam before, and after taking this lesson, I finally understood why Vietnamese food is so delicious! I was fascinated by dishes made with fresh lemongrass and other ingredients. The lesson studio is very clean and lovely. It's also conveniently located next to the Park Hyatt hotel. I went to the market with the instructor and bought rice flour. I was surprised to learn that the flour blend varies depending on the dish. We went to the market around 8 AM, but it gets hot, so if you're not confident about the heat, it might be better to just join the lesson directly. The lesson is taught in English. I gave it 4 stars for cost-effectiveness because I felt it was a bit pricey compared to the average cost of Vietnamese food. However, considering I had the instructor for over three hours, went to the market, and got to cook and eat three different dishes plus a dessert, I believe it was an invaluable experience. I highly recommend it, especially to people from Japan!

We had a fantastic morning at Saigon Cooking School and thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday cooking class. We learned how to make fresh spring rolls, chicken and green mango salad, and traditional Vietnamese pancakes, with plenty of hands-on experience throughout. Chef Oanh and her assistant, Hồng, were knowledgeable, patient, and engaging, sharing helpful cooking tips and insights into Vietnamese cuisine. The kitchen was spacious, spotless, and very well equipped, creating a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment. Best of all, we got to enjoy the delicious dishes we had prepared ourselves, followed by a bonus serving of homemade banana ice cream, which was absolutely delicious. Thank you, Oanh and Hồng, for a wonderful experience, a fun morning, and some truly memorable food. We highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

A highly recommended activity when visiting Ho Chi Minh City. It was such a nice experience exploring the countryside and learning how to cook traditional Vietnamese food. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and Joe was especially accommodating and helpful throughout the experience.

My family and I enjoyed the cooking class. They made it easy by picking us up from our accommodation in the morning for a cyclo ride. For those scared of the Saigon traffic this is quite exciting! It’s a great way to experience the city. We were met at the markets by Van who met with different vendors to buy our produce. She showed us what to look for and it was great being able to buy more local products. At the cooking class Chef Vu was entertaining and informative. I liked how we each got to cook our own food, rather than just watching one person make the meal. it was a fun hands on experience and there was so much food to eat. I’d recommend this tour to friends visiting Saigon.

Hoa was fantastic from the start. As soon as I booked the class, she reached out to check on the details of my group. She also went the extra mile to create a special session for us, as we were celebrating a bachelor party. She turned the lesson into a competition-style experience, which made it even more fun and engaging. We also really enjoyed exploring the local markets and appreciated the guidance she gave us throughout. Hoa is extremely fluent in English, which made it much easier for us to learn and understand everything. Her assistant, Tris, was also incredibly helpful and made all of us feel comfortable. Strongly recommend this class!
