Spring City Resort This time, we used a Klook package that included one meal and a two-hour hot spring private room for 3,500 NTD. Upon arrival at the hotel entrance, staff will assist with valet parking, as guests are not allowed to park their own vehicles. It's good to be prepared to tip when leaving, to avoid an awkward moment with your wallet. The dinner was Japanese cuisine with a fixed menu, so no other choices were available. Overall, it was decent. After eating, you can take a stroll around the area before returning for the hot springs. The pace of the itinerary was quite comfortable. The private hot spring room showed some signs of age, with an older decor style, but the room itself was spacious, and the bathing area was also large. The sound insulation of the main door was average, but since we visited on a weekday and there weren't many people, it didn't significantly impact our experience. What was rather perplexing was that shortly after we entered the room, a housekeeper knocked on the door and said our time was up. We were completely bewildered, thinking, "We just arrived; did time fly by, or is our life being fast-forwarded?" The housekeeper later confirmed the mistake, apologized, and left, but this little incident was indeed a bit baffling. Overall, although the facilities and decor of Spring City Resort show their age, the service was generally acceptable, and the environment had a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere. Considering one meal plus a two-hour private hot spring room for 3,500 NTD, the value for money is still reasonable, making it a suitable place for a relaxing hot spring getaway.

This was a last minute booking. Booked it on the way to Beitou. Redeemed it within 15 mins with no issues. Staff were very accommodating and the 90 mins for the bath were more than enough. Complimentary snacks and cold drinks as well. There’s a hot and cold plunge within the private room. Just take note that there’s an additional 300 NTD fee for weekend visits.

The double hot spring room was clean and comfortable, and the view was fantastic. My husband and I had a super relaxing afternoon. The all-you-can-eat afternoon tea after the hot spring was a huge bonus. Highly recommend "Jiabin Pavilion"!

The experience was quite good. 3 hours were enough for us to enjoy the hot spring bath and relax after that. It would be better in the cold season anw.

All of the amenities are functioning right except the water station, the cold water is not available. A vendo at the snacking area could be also useful. Nonetheless, I had a great experience with Shan Yue and will definitely comeback for more.

The facility was very good. The hot spring was also very pleasant. It wasn't like those strong sulfur springs where all your belongings smell like the hot spring when you get home; it was just right. The access from the station and other tourist spots is also good, so I recommend it if you're visiting Taipei. However, I imagine it's similar at most hot springs, but regulars seem to dominate the space. I was warned for not wearing a shower cap (which isn't customary in Japan), while they were eating food they brought into the bathing area. I want to respect local rules, so if shower caps are mandatory, I would appreciate it if that were clearly stated. If eating and drinking are also permitted, removing the 'no eating/drinking' signs would prevent me from feeling confused.

Booking through Klook this time was really convenient, and the overall experience was great! The process was clear, and using it was very smooth; everything went well on-site. Visiting Beitou Water House for a private bathhouse session was one of the most relaxing highlights of our Taipei trip. We originally walked in intending to purchase our tickets on-site, but the front desk staff was incredibly honest and helpful, suggesting that we book via Klook instead since it may be cheaper. We booked it on our phones right at the lobby, and the entire 90-minute experience was simply the best. The warm white sulfur soak did wonders for our tired muscles, helping us fully recover after logging over 20,000 steps each day of our trip. Between the therapeutic mineral water, sleek ambiance, and exceptional customer service, we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Taipei.

If you don't like crowds but enjoy hot springs, there are off-peak discounts from April to the end of September. Be sure to call and make a reservation before you go; the staff are friendly and explain everything in detail. Also, if you are driving, you can ask the guard at the entrance if there are still parking spaces available for the hot spring rooms. If not, there is a Qixing Park Dudu parking lot on the side of the MRT station across the street, and using a credit card to pay for parking is very convenient. Today's room did not have an outside window, but it had a relatively large pool, so there was plenty of space for two people to soak. Additionally, if you care about having a large resting area, then you should choose a room with an outside window, but the pool will be smaller.
