Passeios por Shirakawa-go

Joining this tour on 9/11 was truly the best decision; no need to transfer, and our Chinese-speaking guide, Xiao Yu (Yukino), was fantastic! Not only did she take great photos, but she also introduced us to many must-visit spots in Takayama Old Town and Shirakawa-go, including shops. On the way back, she even recommended must-try Nagoya delicacies and provided links. Highly recommend! 👍🏻 The meeting point was also very clear. Although it rained in the city, it was still a wonderful experience. The weather wasn't hot, and when we arrived at Shirakawa-go, it wasn't raining and was even sunny ☀️. The Hida beef is a must-try and absolutely delicious, even if a bit oily, it's a rare experience. I recommend choosing the option that includes lunch! 👍🏻

This was my first time joining a Klook one-day tour to famous Japanese attractions. The meeting time was neither too early nor too late, and the location was easy to find. However, since all tour members are strangers to each other on these tours, I believe it would be fairest if the tour guide/your company pre-assigned specific seats to each member. On the day of our tour, we arrived 30 minutes early and checked in with the guide, learning that the tour bus hadn't arrived yet. As there were many people, we waited elsewhere, which unfortunately led to us boarding the bus very late and ending up in seats near the back. As for the schedule, the time spent at each attraction was acceptable. The tour guide was very responsible, introducing popular must-try products and even planning a Shirakawa-go route for our reference.

This was one of the highlights of my trip. Three locations in one day. Shirakawago was stunning even during summer. Takayama, considered the "little Kyoto," gave a peaceful vibe, as did the famous waterway at Gujo Hachiman. I really enjoyed this whole day trip. Our guide, Ritsuki, was very friendly and accommodating. Kudos 👏🏻 💐

Tour was amazing, our guide Kana was super friendly and provided all the info in advance while on the way, so when you arrive you already know what to prioritize and have a map to go around easily. tour starts early but then, when you arrive, is not that crowded which is nice. Better to follow her recommendation and go to the observatory first, when I went after arrival was almost empty but one hour later it was super full and it continued like that the rest of the day. Lunch was great and nice opportunity to try a traditional lunch. Both places were honestly breathtaking and we were super lucky to have a super sunny day. Bus was also great and it honestly felt nice to not have to check 10 times the public info for transport to make sure I was going in the right direction :) . Overall I think the experience is definitely worth it if you are in the area!

Como estos lugares están a más de dos horas de Nagoya en coche, definitivamente vale la pena unirse a un tour local. El guía fue excelente: responsable, bien organizado y nos dio mucho tiempo libre, que fue más que suficiente para la visita. Me encantó la primera parada, vale mucho la pena el viaje. El punto de encuentro 'Silver Clock' es muy fácil de encontrar, y los mapas y sugerencias proporcionados por el guía fueron detallados y fáciles de seguir. También crearon grupos de WhatsApp y WeChat para asegurar una comunicación fluida durante todo el día.

Shirakawa-go and Takayama Tour is one of the best tours you can get in Nagoya. The tour consists of going to Takayama with some guided excursions. The orientation while inside the bus with the maps provided by the guide was enough for us to be well-guided with the best places to go in Takayama and Shirakawa-go. This tour provided observation deck access, which allowed us to take pictures and buy souvenirs. The tour in Takayama is one of the best tours we had since we were able to roam freely. In Shirakawa-go, we were also able to roam freely.

Our tour guide, Liu Mei, and our Brazilian-Japanese driver took us on a day trip to Hida Takayama and then to Shirakawa-go today. We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Liu and the driver because, when we spontaneously asked to visit an art museum in Hida, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. This was truly the most memorable experience we've had in Japan so far. The guide was clear in her instructions, and the driver drove very safely, making every effort to ensure everyone was comfortable throughout the journey. We also learned a lot, thank you! This day trip is highly recommended, and my wife loved it too :))

Cici was a great guide, she was fluent in 3 languages, she gave us freedom to follow her around or to explore by ourselves. Felt a bit rushed in Gujo Hachiman, but the rest felt we had much much spare time to explore. Going with a tour like these is way cheaper than going by yourself.
