My family and a friend's family, totaling 4 adults and 4 children, signed up for this tour. We were picked up at our hotel at 7:30 AM, followed by a 2.5-hour drive to the Kinabalu Park viewing deck. Although there was traffic leaving downtown Kota Kinabalu towards Mount Kinabalu, the guide was very accommodating with bathroom breaks for the kids along the way. We took plenty of pictures at the viewing deck and then headed to the Desa Dairy Farm 🐮, making a pit stop at a local fruit shop just before arriving. Our tour guide, Jeff, introduced us to fruits we had never seen before, and we bought and tried a few of them 🥭. We were thrilled by fruits we had never heard of or seen, like apple jelly fruit, avocado cheese fruit, and snake fruit 😆. The avocado cheese fruit tasted and felt like sweet, steamed pumpkin, unlike any fruit we'd ever had! It was delicious 😋. From there, we headed to the Desa Farm. Located at an altitude of about 1,500 meters, it was pleasantly cool! It was clear with few clouds, and we managed to take many wonderful photos with the sharp ridges of Mount Kinabalu in the background. We even saw a sun halo ☀️! Jeff smoothly guided us through the highlights, like getting soft-serve ice cream and feeding the calves and goats. As a father of four, Jeff is also an expert on fun TikTok trends, and the kids had an absolute blast shooting fun, video-like clips with the family, leaving us all extremely satisfied 😁. Afterward, we had lunch at a nearby restaurant and headed off for Rafflesia viewing 🌺. We were worried whether we'd be able to see any since they only bloom for 5 to 7 days a year, but we actually got to see two blooming Rafflesia flowers ✌️. We also saw buds and withered ones, making it a unique experience you can only have on-site 👌. Nearby, there were cacao and durian trees! I had no idea durians grew on such tall trees 😳. By this time, it was a little past 3:00 PM. The kids were getting tired, so we decided it was time to head back, and we flexibly adjusted our itinerary to return home—especially since the morning traffic jam had been so long 💦. On the way back, Jeff pointed out a mysterious cloud hanging over the peak of Mount Kinabalu, telling us how rare it was 👌. The return trip was also a bit congested, but we managed to get back to the hotel around 7:00 PM. Our original return time was supposed to be 5:30 PM, but traffic and the summer vacation season made it busy. A helpful tip: it's a good idea to bring a bit of extra cash, as you'll need bug spray around the Rafflesia area, and some restaurants at lunch don't accept credit cards. A very satisfying trip! I saw the Rafflesia as I wished, and the other activities were also good. Our guide, Calvin, was very kind and meticulously introduced the activities. He drove carefully, which made us feel very safe. I twisted my ankle and had a swollen bump that needed a doctor. He recommended and took me to a clinic, where I quickly saw a doctor and had an X-ray. The doctor confirmed I had no fracture, which put my mind at ease, and the cost was reasonable. Thanks again to Calvin for his help. This one-day tour had many activities, and the lunch was also good. I think the tour fee was reasonably priced.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed this day trip; we had a fantastic time! Our guide, Xiao Yang, was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the plants and insects along the way but also sharing a lot of local culture and history. So, this trip allowed us to appreciate beautiful scenery, learn a great deal, and even discover some recommended local delicacies. We felt very satisfied 🥳 Xiao Yang also adjusted the itinerary based on weather changes, making each attraction more enjoyable. We are truly grateful 😊 Highly recommend!

Sehr schöne Tour, wir haben viele Kühe auf der Desa-Rinderfarm gesehen und es gab einen kostenlosen kleinen Milchkarton dazu. Wir hatten ein herzhaftes Essen und hatten das Glück, die Rafflesia und verschiedene seltene Orchideenarten in voller Blüte zu sehen. Von der Bergspitze aus gab es viele schöne Landschaften zu bewundern. Der Reiseleiter Michael ist auch sehr sachkundig und leidenschaftlich, was die verschiedenen Pflanzenarten auf dem Berg, insbesondere die Orchideen, angeht. Ein guter und entspannender Tagesausflug, da der Bus vom Hotel abholt und in die Stadt zurückfährt.

We had an amazing experience on this tour. The entire day was well-organised and felt personalised from start to finish. Our tour guide, Adeor, made the trip memorable and enjoyable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting insights throughout the journey. He also accommodated our request stop at the Upside Down House on the way (even though it wasn’t in the itinerary. The tour itself had so many great experiences packed in and the lunch was also absolutely delicious, with a nice view. Another thing we really appreciated was how thoughtful the team was. Adeor carried extra raincoats, umbrellas, and essentials in case of weather changes, which made us feel very well taken care of. Both the guide and the driver were extremely warm and friendly, and we ended up bonding over our shared love for Bollywood. Overall, a fantastic tour with beautiful sights, great food, and genuinely warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu!

Itinerary: The length was just right. Safety: Very safe. Scenery: Diverse, and we even saw the Rafflesia flower, enjoyed fish spa by the lake, and tasted wild boar meat. It was very interesting and unforgettable. Facilities provided: ATV and skydiving safety measures were excellent, making it very fun and exciting. A fulfilling day with a packed schedule. Tour Guide: Xiao Mei was professional, attentive, and patient, following up throughout the trip and being very thoughtful. Lunch: Freshly cooked and delicious, with cold drinks and fresh fruit. Very good. The day before departure, all important information was sent via WhatsApp, which was very thoughtful. It was a great travel experience. The one-day Mount Kinabalu tour includes a variety of activities and is a must-do for anyone visiting Sabah. Highly recommended.

My guide is Xing Yu. Xing Yu is a sincere and dedicated guide who brings a positive experience to the tour. On the way to Mount Kinabalu, he did a good job introducing us to the various local fruits and sharing interesting information about the local surroundings and culture.

We had a wonderful experience with our driver during our half day kk city tour trip. Driver Mr Mok was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire journey. He put a lot of effort into recommending suitable attractions and made sure we could enjoy the trip without feeling rushed. He was also very patient and thoughtful, always willing to help us take photos and even suggested good photo spots and angles. What we appreciated most was his excellent service and genuine care. He was not just a driver, but also made the whole trip feel more enjoyable and comfortable with his helpful recommendations and assistance. Tour Guide: A lovely lady who speaks multiple languages, cheerful and lively, so there's no need to worry about language barriers. Itinerary: The entire park is divided into many different ethnic areas, and the visitor flow is clear and smooth. Group Size: The park is very large, yet surprisingly clean, with not many mosquitoes or insects. Visiting with other tour groups, the atmosphere was very harmonious. Meals: Not exceptionally delicious, but filling. You can tell they put their best effort into preparing the food. Special Features: The staff members wear many hats, and you can feel their passion for their work. 😊
