Passeio de Meio Período pela Vila Cultural de Bornéu em Kota Kinabalu

This was my first experience with Borneo Village. I was very happy and will not forget this moment. All the people and staff were very nice and friendly. I also did activities like cooking and tried to hit the balloon with a traditional weapon.

Great trip to experience local cultures in Sabah, with various traditional houses displayed in the village, free tasting of local snacks & drinks, and a fantastic presentation of ethnic cultural dance.

We had a guide that was assigned to us only. The lunch was ok.

Because I was traveling alone, I booked this tour. I highly recommend it; if you're coming by yourself, there's no need to worry. The driver was very punctual, and upon arriving at the cultural village, they divided us into Chinese, English, and Korean groups, so there's no need to worry about language barriers. The team leader was very kind and friendly, and explained everything in detail. What I didn't expect was that after entering the cultural village, we ate and ate non-stop, so much so that I almost couldn't finish lunch. The experience was excellent! Highly recommended.

Sangat menikmati tur kami di Borneo Cultural Village. Kami benar-benar bisa merasakan budaya mereka. Berkesempatan mencoba tarian mereka, alat berburu tradisional mereka, memasak kari dan roti, serta berbagai sampel makanan dari suku-suku yang berbeda. Makan siang prasmanan juga enak. Mereka juga menawarkan tato henna gratis.

Our guide, Agustine, was both a responsible driver and an informative leader in Borneo culture. He was able to convince me to try out all the experiences at the Borneo center while balancing the preferences of the other guests. Additionally, he took on the role of our photographer and videographer for everyone. This is great, especially for a solo traveler. I enjoyed the tour very much!

Amazing experience. We didn’t try the sago worms at the Borneo Cultural Village but the cooking session (chicken curry and Roti Canai was fun. The cruise to spot Proboscis monkey and fireflies was magical, like Xmas came early. Saw an amazing sunset too.

This was another option for us in mari mari culture village but for our all booked activities, this was the best! very experiential

We were in Mari Mari Cultural Village, because Borneo Village was closed due to whole situation with coronavirus. The village is informative and pleasant. True, the show was not very interesting. In one of the Kota Kinabalu shopping centers, the show is much more attractive.

We were welcomed with a dance, and we could try traditional ethnic houses, and sample ethnic food and drink, which was all very delicious. For experiences, the blowgun, fire-starting, indoor trampoline, and the bamboo dance during the show were also enjoyable. Our guide was cheerful and explained everything very well in easy-to-understand English, even for those of us who aren't fluent. It was a very valuable experience. We are extremely satisfied.
