Passeio de Manguezais e Observação de Vaga-lumes em Bongawan

We were a group ranging from 8 to 71 years old. This trip was great for everyone! The transfer was comfortable, we saw Proboscis and long-tailed macaques, crocodiles, and birds. The sunset was breathtaking, and the fireflies were so beautiful. On the beach, you can pay extra to ride a small ATV, which was likely the highlight of my 12-year-old's day! Our guide, Cathy, was wonderful; we learned a lot about the mangroves and the creatures because of her!

This is a great experience for me. The sunset is so beautiful, an unforgettable scene from nature. My tour guide, also known as the driver, is very nice and patient, taking many photos and videos for me. I am so glad to meet all the staff on the ship, especially the ship guide who shared so many knowledgeable details about the mangroves. I really enjoyed this activity! Thank you all.

We had a great time with all the activities. We saw proboscis monkeys, long-tailed macaques, a monitor lizard, an egret, and caught a glimpse of a crocodile during the river cruise. Our guide, Eddie, was professional in taking our photos and videos at the Dream Beach Sky Mirror sunset scenery. The fireflies cruise after dark was also mystical. We also had local tea-time and dinner at the jetty. Thank you, Klook, for such an awesome experience.

An incredibly satisfying and enjoyable trip! Our tour guide, Xiao Wen, was also super nice, very enthusiastic, responsible, friendly, and patient. She spoke both Chinese and English exceptionally well, took great care of us throughout the journey, and even helped us take many beautiful photos! We saw a super beautiful sunset and cute little animals in the mangrove forest! We also saw proboscis monkeys, macaques, and fireflies. We are extremely satisfied and will definitely book again if we have the chance!

Taking a small boat to see proboscis monkeys in the mangrove reserve is an activity suitable for all ages. Additionally, there are beautiful sunset photos and scenery at Mirror Beach.

A day made even better by the good weather.

What a great day we had. The bus arrived on time to pick us up and the tour guide Simon was really helpful and very knowledgeable. We made a pit stop at the chocolate factory and tried some of the wonderful chocolates. The second leg of the journey was quite long until we got to the river. There we met Eddie. He is a very good guide and told us all about the river, the mangroves and the animals that live there. He was able to point out proboscis monkeys hiding in the tree tops. After this first river excursion we had a local meal which was very tasty and plentiful. The third part of our trip was to the coast where we took some great sunset photos. On the way back to the bus Eddie and his colleagues slowly went up the river and, as it was getting dark, the thousands of fireflies began their light show and even came into the boat. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Thanks go to Simon and Eddie for making it so enjoyable.

This trip was the best of my Sabah tour as I could watch the long-nosed monkeys, fireflies and beautiful sunset. The guide was very helpful and professional. He could tell us many relevant and interesting information. We appreciated his passion.

Both the dispatcher and the driver-guide were superb, making for a truly perfect travel experience! The dispatcher promptly confirmed our schedule and pick-up hotel, and then, after consulting with us, added the driver-guide for the day to our chat group, which greatly reassured my impatient self. I especially want to thank our driver-guide, Mr. Wan, for this trip: Before the journey, Mr. Wan thoughtfully provided tips on what to pay attention to during the trip and suggestions for clothing. He arrived at our hotel early and waited for us downstairs. Throughout the entire trip, Mr. Wan's knowledge and passion for Sabah and the mangrove forests, as well as his care for us, deeply moved us. Through Mr. Wan's engaging narration, we learned so much more about Sabah and Malaysia, from introductions to various unique spots along the way to recommendations for local specialty foods, from historical development to ecosystems, and from Sabah's human environment to the natural conservation of its flora and fauna. During the trip, he even thoughtfully prepared binoculars and a laser pointer for our child, helping us more quickly and accurately discover and witness the various animals and plants in the mangrove ecosystem that we never had the chance to learn about in the city, making us marvel at the power of life and the wonders of nature! Amidst the beautiful scenery and the mysteries of nature, Mr. Wan also enthusiastically took many stunning photos for us, making us feel like we had captured some of the best photos of our lives. Our 7-year-old child had a great time and also gained a lot of knowledge that they wouldn't normally learn in China or at school. Throughout the trip, accompanied by Mr. Wan, we were lucky enough to see surprisingly large water monitor lizards and crocodiles that we had only ever seen on screens. We discovered a family of proboscis monkeys hiding in the mangrove thickets and fireflies as numerous as stars. We witnessed the beautiful sunset glow and a sky full of stars, just like in our childhood memories. Sabah is truly beautiful, and its people are genuinely kind. I highly recommend everyone try this itinerary; city children will be moved by the power of nature.
