Super great value for money. For the first attraction, you can choose whether or not to pay extra to take photos at the Floating Mosque, and there's plenty of time allocated. For the subsequent proboscis monkey viewing, the guide and captain will work hard to find them and allow everyone to take photos and videos in turns. By dinner time, I didn't have high expectations for the food, but I ended up eating twice – it was really delicious with rice. For the sunset, we happened to experience the weather changing from cloudy to perfectly clear, and because it was so beautiful, the guide gave us an extra 5 minutes for photos. Finally, the fireflies were indescribably beautiful; it was truly moving to see an entire grove of trees light up at the same time. Before starting, I thought that with so many fireflies in Taiwan, it would just be okay, but in the end, I'm very glad I still chose this tour.

Our tour guide, John, explained everything in Chinese throughout the trip, including instructions and important notes, as the entire group spoke Chinese. We were very lucky to see proboscis monkeys and a waterfall of fireflies that looked like a Christmas tree (my phone couldn't capture it, but the guide provided photos as souvenirs). Holding fireflies gently in my hand was a truly wonderful experience. The guide also introduced us to Durian Street (I had walked past it the day before and thought it was just a regular market since the guide hadn't explained it, but it turns out they have Sabah fruit and durians, which are unique to Sabah and cheaper here; durian lovers should definitely try them) and Gaya Street. 本次沙巴最期待的行程之一！首先導遊小賴很棒沿途替我們介紹了很多沙巴的文化、景點，還會幫忙拍美照😆整趟行程中不但有點心、下午茶還有晚餐，不斷地被餵食完全不用擔心餓肚子，再來是遊船找野生動物長鼻猴、長尾猴和蜥蜴都看到了～最後重頭戲螢火蟲，夜晚的星空與樹梢上的一閃一閃的螢火蟲相互呼應，真的很漂亮！是非常值得的體驗👍

I love this tour because it was chill and not rushing things. We had a smooth river cruise, saw some Proboscis Monkeys, crocodiles and kingfisher birds. We had a beautiful sunset as well. It’s a shame that it rained during our fireflies watching but we were able to see some of them. There were free snacks and tea and buffet dinner as well. The guide John was superb and accommodating. Will definitely try this tour again next time.

Relaxing trip, good value for money. Well-planned and a nice dinner was provided. Hotel pickup and drop-off are a bonus. Wildlife trips depend on your luck; you're not guaranteed to see monkeys, but you're 100% guaranteed to see fireflies, and it was amazing. The boatman used a light to attract the fireflies towards you. Very nice.

有市區飯店接送，前一天會主動聯繫隔天集合時間，先到清真寺拍拍照，再吃椰子布丁，點心，接著遊河找野生動物，找長尾猴等。回來後吃晚餐、去海邊看夕陽，再度遊河看螢火蟲，滿滿的螢火蟲迎面飛來 ，一閃一閃的很漂亮。

I joined the Kawa Kawa Wildlife & Fireflies River Cruise and enjoyed it. The boat ride was relaxing, and we spotted proboscis monkeys and a few other animals along the river. The highlight was definitely the fireflies at night – seeing the trees light up was pretty special. The tour was well organized, with friendly guide John and a decent dinner included. Overall, it’s a nice trip if you want to experience a bit of Sabah’s nature without too much effort.

導遊John很專業也很用心，每一站都會瞻前顧後，回程回飯店時因為與上車地點不同，John 還說可以順路放我們在住宿下車....貼心啦！ 當天遊河找長鼻猴時船有出現狀況，看得出來John 比我們還生氣😅....當很可惜看只看到一隻長鼻猴隱約的背影😂，但晚上的螢火蟲值得看，回程遇到下大雨，很特別的回憶....值得推薦的行程👍👍👍 船家的救生衣都很髒要有心裡準備😵 晚餐菜色就像家常菜不錯吃....👍 巴士舒適乾淨，大家都很準時👍

We enjoy the experience of this trip, the tour guide was good and he told us, our safety is important so we can really enjoy the trip. Lucky for this trip we can see a lot of firefly. We spot 2 Proboscis monkey too.

I had such a fun and memorable experience on the Kawa Kawa River Cruise tour! Even though I joined a Chinese joiner tour and people initially thought I was Chinese too, I quickly got comfortable and even made friends along the way. Our day started at the stunning Floating Mosque, then we went on the river cruise where we spotted some monkeys (though not the proboscis ones). The sunset at the beach was peaceful, the buffet dinner was great, and the night ended beautifully with fireflies lighting up the river.
