Highly recommend. The snorkeling tour is very professional and nice. Firstly, we took a boat to Mengalum Island and enjoyed the beach there. About 11:00 AM, we went to two beautiful snorkeling spots in total. There were all kinds of fish in both places, and we also saw starfish and octopuses 🐙. After lunch, we just enjoyed chill time on the beach 🏖️. I had a very wonderful and memorable experience on Mengalum Island. First, I want to express my gratitude to Wayne, who exclusively handled our family trip. From hotel pickup to drop-off, he was kind, safe, and helped us enjoy our activities. We had children with us, and he thoughtfully arranged seats on the boat to prevent seasickness, and he took amazing photos. Perhaps because he lived in Korea, he seemed to understand and cater well to the needs of Korean travelers. He also sent us all the photos and videos he took during the trip after it ended, and on the way back, he took us to a local restaurant where we were able to eat delicious Satay that we almost missed. His genuine desire to help us enjoy Kota Kinabalu without expecting anything in return was truly felt. We were also grateful that he recommended several reasonably priced restaurants. Since it was a trip involving a long boat ride and a considerable cost, I was a bit worried, but thanks to him, we are returning to Korea with wonderful memories. If you happen to meet Wayne during your activities, you are lucky!! Perhaps because it was right before a long holiday, we were relaxing on the island beach, and the guides even gave us beer and drinks for the children; it was a trip full of warmth. Everyone was so kind and relaxed, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I think it would have been a great pity if we had only stayed in Kota Kinabalu city. The firefly tour was canceled due to rain every evening during the rainy season, but looking back, it's safe to say that if you don't do an island tour, you haven't really been to Kota Kinabalu. Definitely do an island tour~~~

We had an incredible time snorkeling at Mengalum Island, and a big part of it was thanks to Wan, our amazing tour guide. He was super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Wan not only helped us take countless photos, but he also captured stunning underwater shots with his GoPro. The photos are absolutely worth getting—they’re high-quality and a fantastic way to relive the experience! What really impressed us was Wan’s attentiveness and care, especially as we went on this trip with our parents, who are nearing 70 years old. He took great care of them during the snorkeling session, ensuring they were comfortable and safe at all times. He even used a life buoy to help guide them to spots teeming with fish, which allowed them to enjoy the experience without any worries. If you’re considering this trip, I highly recommend it. Make sure to ask for Wan—he’ll make your experience unforgettable, whether you’re traveling with friends or family!

Primera experiencia de snorkel y los guías fueron geniales y complacientes. Es seguro y el mundo submarino no decepciona en absoluto, hermosos corales y peces. Aguas cristalinas, arena suave, la playa más hermosa que he visitado.

Our guide Aaron was very responsible. Before our first time in the water, he asked who couldn't swim. Since I can't swim, he specially arranged for a local staff member to take care of me with a lifebuoy throughout the trip, which I really appreciate! Mantanani Island is beautiful! At the first snorkeling spot, we saw many fish, including clownfish. Because the weather was good and there wasn't much current, we also went to the third snorkeling spot and saw sea cucumbers and starfish. We stayed at the Morimori Resort, and lunch was decent. My only regret is that during the mangrove trip, let alone monkeys, we didn't even see a single monkey hair 😂😂😂, but the sunset was absolutely stunning! Breathtaking! I've never seen such a beautiful sunset and afterglow! Just look at the pictures! After dark, we went to look for fireflies and saw quite a few, some even flew into our boat, which was really great. It was a very cost-effective day trip, and the guide was excellent. Highly recommended!

This tour is actually great. We really enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed it. The island is amazing! The water and the sand are perfect. The staff are super kind and they made sure we were safe and would have fun. Whether you're a family traveling or a group of friends, this tour is perfect for you. I also want to thank Sir Vince for taking care of us throughout the tour. He's so reliable, I absolutely recommend him.

The island is very beautiful. The beaches are very similar to the Caribbean: white sand, turquoise water. Truly fantastic and practically deserted. The staff was very nice and friendly and tried to offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I enjoyed this excursion very much.

I think I did a great job booking this tour. It's not easy to travel a distance of more than an hour by boat, but the boat was fast, so it was fun like riding a banana boat, and the color of the sea was really beautiful when we got close to the island. I would like to praise my guide, Ian. He was with me from morning to night, took really good care of me, and helped me have a good time on the tour! However, the amenities seemed a bit disappointing. The meals and amenities provided needed some improvement. But it’s one of the tours I don’t regret. For Koreans planning to go, please bring cup noodles or snacks to eat on the island in the middle! The buffet food isn't that great. Also, when you ride the boat, water splashes everywhere, so a waterproof bag is essential. Don't worry, the guides are very good!
