Ilha Dinawan com Passeio de Snorkel - Ilha particular em Kota Kinabalu

A private and beautiful island. We were satisfied with the delicious lunch and the guide was kind. Above all, we were pleased with the beautiful scenery. The hotel pickup and transfer service was satisfactory, and the driver was very kind and made us feel comfortable. However, we wanted to use the paddleboard a lot, but there was only one paddleboard, and even that kept deflating, so we had to keep reinflating it. Two of our group had to take turns using it, and other members also had to take turns discreetly. We didn't do snorkeling, but other members enjoyed it. There were plenty of kayaks, but we were disappointed as we primarily wanted to use the paddleboard. We are satisfied with all other facilities. The restrooms were very clean, and the shower facilities were relatively good.

With clear waters and fine sand, it's perfect for those who love a peaceful island experience. On the day we visited, there were no other tourists on the island, so our two families, a total of five people, had the entire island to ourselves. The outdoor shower facilities and restrooms were in good working order, and tea and coffee were available for free. For activities, we only tried kayaking, which was freely accessible. There was only one snorkeling spot; the current wasn't too strong, and some areas were quite deep, requiring self-exploration to find the coral reefs. There was a good variety of fish, though not in large schools like at Sapi Island, and a few sea anemones. Lunch was served hot, with generous portions, and the taste was a matter of personal preference. Overall, considering the short drive and boat ride, Dinawa Island is an ideal island destination.

That was a totally underrated experience! Absolutely amazing! We went island hopping on September 1st, and the weather wasn't ideal. It was rainy, and the sea was quite choppy as we boarded for the private island. The captain was incredibly professional, skillfully avoiding all the big waves, and was very thoughtful with every detail. Lunch on the island was surprisingly good. It was hot, and the local food was beautifully presented. Please choose this experience instead of the major ones (Manukan Island, etc. – we went there the day before and it can't compare!). Experience: great hospitality!

Our guides Kelvin, Nick and Edward took great care of us and put in a lot of effort to look for the proboscis monkeys. We had a great time at Bongawan thanks to them! I must also give a shout out to the boat crew who brought us close to the monkeys and fireflies!

It was a hassle-free experience, from the hotel pickup to the journey to the Island. Alas, it was not as pleasant for us as it rained heavily the day before, so the waters are a bit murkier than usual. This is not Ara Dinawan's fault, though; it's weather risks. The Island operators were still kind enough to attempt to bring us out further to the sea to let us try snorkelling for better views. The kayaks and other equipment were in good condition. The operator was helpful as they called me to confirm my booking and transportation. If you're not keen on sharing used snorkelling equipment and you have your own, I suggest you bring it. Food served was okay, there was also a tea-time included, served with banana fritters and the locally made Malaysian-style powdered sugar doughnuts. If you go there on sunnier and less rainy season, I am sure the waters are crystal clear. Also - their claims of being not crowded like the other public Islands is true, our group had less than 20 people all-in

Our family of 6 visited Dinawan island. I must say we really enjoyed. water was crystal clear for swimming, there were activities like kayaking and paddle board. However the staff could not find any volleyball or football. We were vegetarians and food was ok. overall recommended trip.

我们两个人花了九百多块钱，就只是在岛上躺着，在吊床上睡觉，因为生理期提前没办法下水，所以没有参加浮潜，也没有玩浆板和一切下水的项目，在仙本那玩了五六天才到的亚庇，所以没觉得这个海岛有多漂亮，海岸边还有很多的贝壳石头树枝，没有专人清理，其实能活动的区域只有一小片，好在天气还挺凉快，我们只是慵懒地躺在树荫下玩手机吹自然风，午饭很好吃，要是岛上有卖椰子的话就更好了，相当放松的一天，工作人员还给我们准备了点心作为下午茶😊 总体来说 这个价格不如直接在岛上住一天 性价比不高 但是我们只想躺平了休息 作为这趟旅行的收尾

We were the only guests on our day trip. It was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed the snorkeling within the shore and at another location further out from the island. Lunch & hi-tea were freshly prepared. Safety precautions were highlighted and there was always someone on the watchout when we were in the sea. Good location for family getaway and day trip to enjoy the beach, snorkeling and kayaking.

Dinawan was a very good experience, clean quiet beach with lots of things to do and beach chairs to relax on.
