Experiência de Mergulho com Snorkel na Ilha de Semporna

I'm so satisfied, the feeling of free snorkeling without a life jacket is amazing 👏. The snorkeling guide helped me take a lot of videos and even took me down to see Nemo. The island is super pristine and very beautiful. There are a lot of mosquitoes and insects when hiking up the mountain, so be prepared if you go! The snorkeling guide doesn't go up the mountain; there's a dedicated local guide for that. Personally, I feel that not climbing the mountain and just taking photos there is also great, or diving. The scenery seen from the mountain is not much different from what you see when the speedboat approaches. Personally, I feel that everything except the hiking was superb! I really like my snorkeling guide; they provided so much emotional value! Because I came with my mom, and she can't swim, they had to take care of her and help me shoot videos, hahaha, it was really hard work. The underwater ecosystem is truly good, with live corals and various fish. Next time, I want to come and get a diving certificate. The snorkeling guides all speak Chinese, so everyone doesn't need to worry about communication issues.

The meeting point was at the office next to Dragon Inn entrance followed by obtaining the permits from the tourist jetty before starting the tour. You’ll need to pay RM 10 to enter Timba Timba Island. Lunch was provided together with bottled water. This trip was the best as you will be able to see plenty of corals and fish. The water is clear and we were lucky to spot a turtle during the snorkeling session.

This package was run by Borneo Climb & Dive. The meeting point was at the office next to Dragon Inn entrance. After that, the guide will need to get the permit from the tourist jetty before starting the tour. There are toilets after the registration counter before the hike up to Bohey Dulang. Covered shoes with good grip are recommended as the trail is slippery. Lunch box with rice and few dishes was provided together with bottled water. We were lucky to spot a sting ray during the snorkeling session.

Beautiful day! Everything was very well organized, including a good lunch. The guides were excellent, knowledgeable, and above all, friendly and accommodating to every request. As for the itinerary, there's nothing to say—it's paradise. The only bitter taste is seeing trash in the sea and on some beaches.

A well planned trip and I was well taken care of. Safety measures were in place. The boat looked decent. The staff were friendly and skillful. The wait in the morning was a bit longer than expected probably because they needed to pick up people at different jetties but all were probably given the same pick up time. This could be better managed. Lunch was included and I personally think it was nice and much appreciated. The hike took about one hour on mountainous roads and turned out to be a good sweaty workout which was worthwhile when a picturesque view came into our eyes. There were three snorkeling sessions. Snorkeling equipment was provided. The corals and ocean creatures were beautiful under the clear water.

Perfect Day, perfect weather even in October. A bit hot but the views were good... and the snorkeling was amazing because one of the crew members was a very talented underwater photographer and he was working very, very hard... staying underwater for long minutes to take everyone's videos.

There's a shuttle bus in the morning to the meeting point. I highly recommend hiking; although it's a bit tiring and dangerous, the scenery is incredibly beautiful. Those who don't hike can only take photos by the pier and wait for us for about 2 hours. Afterwards, we'll have lunch and snorkel at the sea near Battleship Island (no landing allowed). Finally, Sibuan Island is also incredibly beautiful, with water so clear you can see starfish 2-3 meters below.

Tidak mudah mendaki Bohey Dulang, pemandu di sana sangat sabar dan memberi semangat untuk memotivasi Anda agar terus mendaki dan menuruni bukit sesuai kecepatan Anda sendiri. Pemandangan di atas sana sangat indah, wajib dikunjungi. Lokasi snorkeling tidak buruk. Semoga pemandu dan awak kapal dapat memberitahu kami tentang titik-titik pengambilan foto di Sibuan karena kami tidak menyadarinya dan melewatkan kesempatan foto-foto yang bagus. Termasuk masker snorkeling.

The weather wasn't great today, so I took very few photos. The instructor was excellent and guided me wholeheartedly. Riri was a great help throughout, ensuring the entire trip was completed smoothly. Thank you. Timba Timba Island was the best spot for snorkeling, where I saw many sea turtles.
