I used the JR Hokkaido Furano Pass during my summer trip, and it was definitely worth it. It made traveling between Furano, Biei, and Asahikawa easy without buying separate tickets. The trains were clean, comfortable, and always on time. The scenery was the best part. Every ride offered beautiful views of flower fields, forests, rivers, and mountains, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. The pass also gave me the freedom to explore without worrying about transportation costs. The only downside is that train services in rural Hokkaido are limited, so careful planning is necessary. Some attractions are also a bit far from the stations and may require a bus, bicycle, or a longer walk. Overall, the JR Hokkaido Furano Pass offers great value and is a convenient way to experience the beauty of central Hokkaido. I would happily use it again.

I love the convenience of the JR Pass as it connects all places of interest via Shinkansen. It's just getting more and more expensive... news reported it will increase in price again this October, so I'd better use it now 😂 Klook made the purchase easy and convenient. The "free Hong Kong mail" for the voucher is delivered by SF Express. If you place an order today (Monday), you will receive it the next day (Tuesday), which is highly efficient. The last time I visited Hokkaido via Sapporo Airport, I deliberately skipped Hakodate because taking the Hokkaido Shinkansen from Shin-Aomori Station to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station, and then transferring to the JR Hakodate Main Line to Hakodate Station, only takes about 1.5 hours. This is much more convenient than the over 3.5-hour journey from Sapporo to Hakodate. For middle-aged travelers looking for a relaxed trip, a route like Sendai - Aomori - Hakodate - Hachinohe - Sendai, using a JR Pass to reserve seats for free at designated seat ticket machines, allows you to enjoy leisurely time and various delicacies. It's a very cost-effective and practical option.

The itinerary for this trip is: Day 1, take the Narita Express (N'EX) from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station, then transfer to the Shinkansen to Yamagata Station. Day 2, from Yamagata to Shinjo to Oishida to Yamagata. We originally planned to take a boat tour on the Mogami River, but due to heavy snow, we turned back and went to Ginzan Onsen instead. Day 3, in the morning, we went to Zao to take the cable car. In the afternoon, we took the Shinkansen from Yamagata to Fukushima to Sendai to Lake Tazawa. Day 4, we took the Lake Tazawa Loop Bus, then traveled from Lake Tazawa to Morioka to Shin-Aomori (the JR section from Shin-Aomori to Aomori was suspended due to heavy snow, so we took a bus into the city). Day 5, we explored Aomori city. From Shin-Aomori to Shin-Hakodate to Hakodate (JR Pass, Hakodate Liner is also available!). We took the cable car up Mount Hakodate to see the night view. Day 6, we explored Hakodate city. From Hakodate to Toya (Hokuto Limited Express) to Toya Station Front to Toyako Onsen (bus). In the evening, we enjoyed the beautiful Toya Winter Illumination and Music Fireworks Festival.

I really like Japan's rail passes; they're so convenient. As long as you plan your itinerary before your trip, the passes offer excellent value. This 4-day pass allowed me to visit Noboribetsu, Otaru, Shiraoi, and Chitose (the Shikotsu Lake bus portion was paid separately), all of which are incredibly beautiful places.

It was a pleasant experience. The pickup location was convenient and easy to find. The driver was polite and carefully helped with our luggage. The tour bus was very comfortable, allowing us to enjoy the scenery along the way. We stopped once at a rest area so we could use the restroom. Upon arrival at our destination, the hotel staff warmly welcomed us. If you're not driving yourself, this bus is definitely the ideal choice for traveling from Sapporo to Tomamu.

Mr. Li was our driver, and there were 6 adults in total (the children are quite large and already in high school). The driver was very kind, giving him a hundred points 💯. He would confirm the time the day before! He also drove slowly, allowing me to take pictures of the Shonan Monorail in Fujisawa 💕. Because the elders were almost 80 years old, they didn't have the energy to go to Enoshima station, so thankfully we chartered a car. We quickly got in the car and returned to the hotel, and the overtime was calculated reasonably. I hope the company can provide a larger vehicle for 6 adults in the future, otherwise it's a bit too cramped 😂 Cleanliness: Very good 👍 Service: Very good 👍
