Purchasing the traditional stone tofu cuisine experience at Kiyomizu Junsei through Klook was absolutely worthwhile. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the environment was elegant, and the staff were warm and friendly. We chose the stone tofu cuisine; the dishes were fresh and uniquely flavored, especially the tofu cooked on stone, which had a silky smooth texture and was amazing when paired with various ingredients. Every dish showcased the exquisite craftsmanship and dedication of Japanese cuisine. The overall dining experience was very pleasant. Booking through Klook not only saved time and effort but also allowed me to enjoy authentic Japanese flavors. I highly recommend it to all food lovers!

The restaurant is located in the front left of the alley. After confirming your reservation and name with the receptionist at the entrance, you will be seated. Once seated, the dishes are served very quickly. We ordered the clear soup tofu hot pot. The server first brought the pot, and then other dishes were served one after another. During the meal, you can slowly savor the original flavor of the soup tofu, or you can place the tofu in a dish and enjoy it with sauce and green onions. Additionally, the Tofu Dengaku (topped with miso) and Tempura are also very delicious.

The service staff were excellent and very friendly. It took a bit of time to get there, so I recommend leaving early. We got a little lost, so we called ahead to say we'd be late, and the restaurant staff kindly extended our reservation by 30 minutes, which we greatly appreciated. The food was acceptable and quite interesting, but the taste was rather ordinary with no particular surprises!

This is a very convenient service; especially for foreigners who don't understand Japanese, booking through Klook is truly easy. Also, by pre-selecting a set meal, we didn't have to spend a lot of time looking through the menu on the spot. Kiyomizu Junsei also gave us, the reserved guests, better seats; our seats faced the fountain in the garden outside the window. With delicious food and a beautiful view to soothe our minds, both body and soul were satisfied 😌. Junsei's tofu set meal is, of course, incredibly delicious, but friends who are used to strong flavors might find it a bit too bland.
