Such elegance and modern flair within a short walking distance to the main Kyoto station. The rooms were super clean and staff was excellent.

The overall environment and atmosphere are excellent. The restaurant is small, with only a few seats and one private room. The food is exquisite and delicious, and some of the cooking methods were particularly impressive. We had the lunch set menu this time. Most of the ingredients used were common, without much high-end seafood, but it was still very tasty.

The ingredients are fresh, the knife work is exquisite, the taste is mellow, and the cooking technique is absolutely on point!

The kaiseki cuisine was about as expected, but being branded with three Michelin stars set certain expectations. The location was difficult to find. The service attitude was good, the food was average, and the portion size was sufficient.

It seems the 3 Michelin stars were awarded to a previous generation, not the current one. Both the food and ingredients are quite disappointing for the price. I can see why opinions are divided. I believe there are many restaurants that offer delicious kaiseki cuisine even without Michelin stars.

A very down-to-earth Michelin restaurant, with simple yet delicious dishes. The whole family serves, creating a very welcoming atmosphere.
