Tempura Endo Yasaka (天ぷら八坂圓堂) - Tempura em Gion, Kyoto

It is a great tempura experience in the traditional Japanese buildings & skillful chef preparing the food in front of the bar table.

The luxurious tempura set menu we ordered was exquisite, and the taste was excellent. My favorite was the mochi tempura; there were no disappointments. The service was also superb; the waitress explained each dish to us in detail. Finally, they even gave us a small gift!

Every dish was delicious. The chef also introduced the dishes in English and explained the suitable dipping sauces. The matcha salt had an elegant Kyoto flavor and was very tasty!

I've been a customer many times, and I think this is the best tempura. However, they have several branches, so it's better to go a bit earlier to find one.

The food was very fresh, and the tempura was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. However, the rule that you cannot add an extra guest to an existing reservation after booking is quite unreasonable. This led to extensive communication with the restaurant upon arrival and an additional hour of waiting just to add one person. This reservation system is unreasonable.

Highly recommended, it's worth it! Our service was very professional and courteous. All the dishes were explained to us and looked simply beautifully presented.

It was a very special experience, with the chef frying directly at the bar, and the taste was excellent. Booking through Klook was very convenient, but the service fee was a bit high.

The food is good. You must order drinks; it's a difference in cultural understanding.

The food was delicious, but above all, the service was truly excellent! We are so grateful to the staff member (I've forgotten their name, unfortunately) who waited for our family outside the door until we arrived. If we get the chance, we'd love to visit again!^^
